Wild Rover Backpackers

La Paz, Bolivia

This is a party hostel, every night, no matter what. It can be a little overwhelming, but at the same time very easy to meet people and enjoy your time in Wild Rover, I mean La Paz. Down side is that the rooms become pretty messy with drunk/hungover people spreading their stuff everywhere. Great price, fun times, but don't stay more than a few days.

The facilities in this hostel are very nice. Almost too nice. Because of this, you end up with less of a backpackers crowd which kind of ruins the hosteller/traveller environment that one becomes accustomed to. The staff is very helpful and the fact that they pack a breakfast for you in the morning for early excursions is almost worth the extra cost in itself.

Marcopolo Inn

Very helpful staff, nice lounge area in addition to the bar. Bathrooms cleaned every day. My room had a rowdy crowd that smoked in the room and got weed all over my bags, but that's not the hostel's fault. Would recommend staying, although your other options in the vicinity seem to provide the same, if not better experience.

The Singing Lamb Backpackers

A little bit off the main drag, but close enough to Erratic Rock for the run-down on TDP. Really clean facilities, made for a nice welcome shower after hiking the W. The rooms are a bit awkward with most all the beds right next to each other, but aside from that, the hostel provides everything you need to prepare and wind down from hiking in Torres del Paine

Cruz del Sur Hostel

Ushuaia, Argentina

The hostel is a little crammed, with the wifi area separated from the rest of the hostel in the quiet room, making it difficult to call without disturbing others. The kitchen is also very small. Aside from that, the beds and facilities are good, and the staff was helpful with providing information about Ushuaia. They also have a beautiful dog that roams around. Would recommend.

The most helpful hostel staff I have ever experienced. Organized events, big common area, insuite bathrooms, beds made daily, and of course the staff make America Del Sur a great choice if you are coming to BsAs

Really quaint, relaxing hostel. The backyard garden is beautiful and the hostel itself provides everything you look for in a hostel. Bathrooms were clean, staff was friendly, overall great stay, would recommend

Really an awesome atmosphere for a hostel. Great Staff, very helpful and fun to hang around. Roof terrace is perfect for escaping the heat at night. The rooms could use some more fans, but that's a small complaint for such a great hostel. I would recommend to anyone

Great hostel, great location, friendly staff, ready to help with anything you need. The terrace is a great breakfast spot and the neighborhood is fun. Walking distance to all the major sites and plenty of restaurants nearby. I would recommend this hostel to anyone coming to Istanbul

Hostel & Guest House SA

I am very surprised that this hostel was top-rated, at 95%. The hostel is nearly impossible to find in the evening and is not exactly in the city center as stated. While close, it's still a 10-15 minute walk through not the best neighborhoods. No good map or overview of the city and failed to tell us they only accept cash until we were leaving, when we of course had no Mark left. Everything just seemed a bit unorganized. The hostel is a clean place to sleep, but besides that, doesn't offer much.
