This place had good facilities and was in a good location. It had a lovely roof top garden and good kitchen. The hostel organised pub crawls and walking tours for those interested. There were a number of large groups staying when I stayed. Rooms were small but had large lockers for storage. This hostel had a good atmosphere considering its large size.

This hostel is in a fatntasic location. Staff are excellent and very helpful. The hostel is simple and facilities are appropriate for the price you pay. The air conditioner wasnt very powerful im not sure if this would be a problem in the late summer months, but was ok for June weather. Simple breakfast was included. Laundry facilities were good and reasonably priced. I would stay here again.

Great location in the centre of town. Staff are very helpful. Breakfast is one of the best I've had in a European hostel. Good bar area with fantastic happy hour, social hostel which makes it easy to meet people. Will have excellent facilities once renovations are complete.

This hostel has a nice relaxed atmosphere. Lovely garden/ social area which is a great place to meet other travlers. The staff are excellent and very helpful at helping you plan your days and make the most out of the French Riviera! The dorm rooms are not overly modern but the kitchen facilities are fantastic. The hostel is located outside the city centre but the shuttle service is very good. I would stay here again.

This hostel is perfect for travellers wanting to explore the walking tracks around Glendalough. It is located in a beautiful spot however it is about 2km to the local store so it's not ideal if you don't have a car. The hostel reminded me of a hikers lodge more than a hostel. Rooms were a little musty and cold but bedding was clean. Good kitchen facilities. No free wifi. Friendly abd helpful staff. I would stay here again if in the area.

Thanks for your feedback, Adelaide! I'm glad you enjoyed your stay - we'll be checking our room temperatures in future now! WiFi is a problem in the area due to the mountains and rural location but we're looking into it and with technology advances hope to find an internet provider who can give a strong enough signal! We'll also have some food stuffs for sale for those who are car-less! You're welcome back again anytime and please do recommend us to your friends! Thanks again!

This hostel was very new with excellent facilities, there was a lovely roof top area and the hostel seemed to organise a lot of activties. This place did kind of feel like you were on 'school camp' as there were a lot of large groups styaing. I imgaine if you were traveling on your own this would be a good place to meet people. Location wasn't ideal as it was a little out of town. Rooms were very clean.

This place is ideal if you need somewhere to stay before an early flight. Close to the airport. The staff were very helpful and it had a homely feel. THe breakfast was a little strange and would not really call it breakfast. Good internet connection and close to the train station so it has good connections to the city centre and airport.

Great hostel for those traveling on a budget. Very clean, central location although staff not too willing to share city knowledge. Free wifi. Small dorms, very full of beds, not much space. Beds comfortable.

The best hostel I've stayed at in London. Location was great. Staff were very helpful. Good kitchen facilities and the breakfast included was more than the traditional hostel corn flakes. The building itself was old so would be hard to keep clean however the staff worked hard to ensure it was as clean as possible. Nice spacious dorm rooms too. I would recommend staying here and I would stay here again. Great value for money.

Great location ! Good character with a great bar near reception plus two other social/lounge areas. Staff were very helpful as we had some trouble with our booking online. The breakfast provided had a good selection of things to eat. I would stay here again.

We arrived to Athens in the middle of the transportation strikes. The staff were very helpful in helping us arrange a lift from the port to the hostel late at night when no other transportation was accessible. The rooms were clean. Although, bathrooms did get messy by the end of the day. And the hostel had good kitchen facilities and breakfast was good quality. I would stay here again.

This place was over priced for what it was and ciy tx was not included in the price. Ok if you just need somewhere to sleep. Only 1 hour of free wifi a day was odd. Good location.

This hostel is new & missing a lot of finishing touches. I don't think the hostel will take too long to improve & the staff seemed to take suggestions for improvement seriously. Security wasn't very good at all, our room had no lockers or even a lock on the door. Although nothing was stolen. The hostel staff kept the hostel quite clean. The hostel was quite new it did not attract many tourists which would make it hard to meet people if travelling alone. I woud stay here again. Good for groups.

Fantastic hostel. Great place to stay. Hostel is in the new city but has good connections (via bus & metro) to the old town. The staff were excellent an offered good information on interesting things to see and do not only in Lisbon but all over Portugal. Lisboa Central Hostel provided the best breakfast I have ever had in a hostel- the freshly cooked pancakes were delicious! I would stay here again- great value foor money.

This hostel is small but what it lacks in size it makes up for in character. The size of the hostel makes it very easy to meet people. The staff were very helpful and always cleaning. Good cooking facilities and only a 2 minute walk to the supermarket. Not an ideal location in terms of getting to the main tourist area and beach. However, the hostel is close to a metro ´with good connections. Great place to stay!!

Youth Meeting Home, Florence, Italy

This place is very strange! The hostel is in a great location- right in the centre of Florence but the hostel is really a city apartment converted into a 'hostel'. The people we meet here were great- everyone banded together about how strange the hostel was. Some beds had bed bugs but not all. The worst part was waiting to use the toilet as you had to wait in the shower line. The kitchen was quite good. Overall not all bad but not good. OK.
