The Party Hostel

Koh Phangan, Thailand

The good things about this hostel was the location and the staff. Everything else was pretty shithouse. The place is in desperate need of some maintenance. It has the potential to be awesome if it was fixed up a bit. There was one working toilet and shower (cold shower) for the 16 people in our room. The place is just run down. The staff do their best to make everyone welcome and make it as enjoyable as possible but I would be looking for somewhere else next time

Some maintenance work has been carried out in the past month or so, as for the showers there are 3, one hot and two cold, I believe we only had an issue with the cold one, we do our best to get things fixed but sometimes over full moon it is difficult to get a plumber or an electrician as they are so busy. From memory you were used to staying in way more upmarket places. The part hostel is one of the longest running hostels here in Haad Rin and it lives up to it's name!

The place was awesome. I stayed in a private room, a 10 bed dorm and a 6 bed dorm. Everything about the hostel was good. The food, the staff, the rooftop bar, the pub crawl. From memory it was about $7US a night and its one of the best hostels I've stayed in.
