Great pricing on the single private rooms although the room I was in had no fan and was stinking hot. Unable to use the shared bathroom without leaving your room open/unlocked to others with access to the bathroom hall. Staff were friendly enough. Loud bar downstairs make earplugs a must

Very friendly and helpful staff, great little rooftop bar with an amazing few, seemed to be a lot of nice people staying there at the time

Location is a bit out of the way, The tuk-tuk driver out the front tells me they have to pay the hostel a $3 kickback to the hostel for picking up customers there, which makes me think you could get a tuk-tuk $3 cheaper if you walk around the corner. Staff seemed superficially friendly, but at one stage practically begged me to give him money with a sob story.

Lovely people running this hostel, and all the travellers I met here were very friendly. Only real complaint is the lack of a common area that doesn't feel like you're intruding

very nice hostel, the free food with the champagne is enough so you dont need to buy dinner. met some great people there. only real downsides were that i could feel the slats of the bed through my mattress and the neighbourhood isnt particularly safe or convienent. definately worth staying here for an LAX stopover for the free shuttle alone

horrible hostel. 14 beds (7 bunks) in a shed (literally) with less than a foot between each bunk. the door didnt even close properly (a large chunk of it was missing) and opened directly out into the open courtyard. no pillow provided. worst hostel i stayed in during my 2 months in europe. it was nice and close to the station though the neighbourhood its in didnt feel particularly safe late at night. they have a "no bringing alcohol into the hostel policy" which is hypocritcal since they sell overpriced beers at the reception. steer well clear of this one, i think the 100% ratings were probably put there by the hostel itself to try and balance so many poor ones
