This hostel is located in a pretty rough neighborhood. It feels unsafe during the daytime, let alone at night. The staff is unfriendly and unwelcoming. The number of showers and toilets is totally insufficient for the number of guests. The dorms are very small and poorly maintained. The beds are worn out. The wifi-network is down constantly. This is a hostel you'll want to avoid. It's a better idea to pay a bit more and stay in one of the HI hostels, where I also stayed a few nights.
Good motel. Close to the Highway, far from the attractions.
Good motel, walking distance to the main street (Higuera St).
The location (South of the freeway) means you can't avoid the dirty and unsafe looking pedestrian tunnel when you return after going out on Main Street (North of the freeway). Apart from that, good hostel.
Fairly good location, walking distance to downtown. Gated parking. Cool staff make sure you have a good time in Vegas (limo trips to clubs on the Strip, barbecues,...). Good hostel if you want to meet new people and party hard. Rooms could be better: spacious but poor beds and poor bathroom.
Good location, one block from the beach. Downtown is far away but there's a bus stop close to the hostel. Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are poor: very small 6 bed dorms, dirty and dusty, poor beds. Few bathrooms (showers and toilets are in the same room which means they're usually occupied) too for the number of guests.
Rather expensive, but definitely worth it. Great location (very close to the beach, the pier, the restaurants and bars), very helpful and friendly staff, great facilities. Pool table, patio, good kitchen. Excellent beds with personal lamps and sockets in spacious, clean rooms. Highly recommended!
Good motel, located right off the freeway exit. Rooms are good: spacious, good facilities (fridge, microwave, TV, AC). Showers could be better: old cabins that don't close properly.
