Excellent location, great place to meet other backpackers, friendly helpful staff. It was a little too noisy for my taste during the night with late check ins and early check outs but apart from that great hostel.

Great and beautifully located hostel. Great common areas and friendly and very helpful staff. The 30 kn breakfast is recommended. Our room in the lower floor wasn't the best in the hostel I'm sure. Strangely we had a window to the shared bathroom (no visibility through it) which woke us up in the night when other guests turned on the light. I would recommend the staff to cover the window with a board to secure a better nights sleep for the guests.

Funny experience, in nice nature calm surroundings a little out of city center. 5-7 minutes walk to a subway station. Nice little café next to hostel. You have to pay additional 40SEK per person if you want staff to clean your room after visit. Otherwise you will have to do it yourself. It seemed pretty manageable though.

Dont expect too much. But its a nice clean hostel in a lovely area not too far from the city center. Good service from the personnel and good value for money.

Sunflower Hotel Hoi An

Hoi An, Vietnam

Its a hotel, and the backpacker scene/meeting other travellers is so so... we didn't stay in the dorms though, so I guess its easier to meet people down there. When all that is said and done, its an excellent hotel with fantastic value for money. Nice little bar, pool table and a swimming pool. Its nice with a bit of luxury feel. The restaurants around are unbelievably cheap. Try the restaurant "Solo" right across the street for best service ever. Rent a bike and take a ride to the beach. Enjoy

Hue Backpackers Hostel

Good backpackers for partying and meeting other backpackers. The hostel bar/club brown eyes combination is pretty legit. The hostel is located in very noisy surroundings though, and Hue is really not worth spending a lot of your holiday in.

Good clean hostel with super facilities, like awesome good clean kitchen, big screen for movie watching, pool table, free internet and what not. Its cool. Its easy to get to and from the city center. Just ask any information desk in the city and they'll give you friendly and good advice. Oh yeah, and good breakfast and friendly staff.. Only downside is that I always find it a bit strange to charge for renting sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers. A bit expensive was it also

Thank you for your nice words. We want to keep our prices as low as possible that is why we haven't included bed linnen. A good advise when you travel in Sweden is to bring a travel sheet. They are small, light weight and nice to sleep in. the Staff

Excellent hostel, If you going for dorms, you might wanna check out the 10 people mixed dorms in the basement.. Every bunk bed have a curtain that you can draw, which is absolutely gold in a hostel. Get an oyster card for the subway system and you're good, really easy to get around

Hotel Sleep2Night

Breakfast was amazing, the room was really nice and clean with nice bathroom and reasonable prices.. biggest downside is the location in the middle of an industrial area 3 km out of city center. No problem if you have a car, we didn't, so it was a bit troublesome and expensive to get to and from from the city with the local busses

Definitely a good budget choice. Rooms are big, spacious and clean with excellent bathrooms. There is free internet on two computers in the reception. The staff is superfriendly, but the hostel in itself isnt much fun and lacks character. The rooftop area is not very interesting and neither is the living room. anyways its pretty easy place to meet fellow travelers... So you can always go out

If thats not a 100 % I dont know what is. Excellent location right on the beach, clean rooms, friendly staff and the best bar in town downstairs. It is rather expensive though and if you want to save a few pesos you can go bedhunting in the vicinity. We found a good place to a third of the price a few minutes walk away.

El Viajero - Hostel & Suites

Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay

Likely to be the best hostel in town. They got a little bar in the living room which is conducive for socialising. The booking procedure was a bit clumsy though. After booking a bed at hostelworld.com I received a mail where the hostel explained in capital letters that I had to send them an additional confirmation, my passport number and the tree digit security code on my credit card. Otherwise my booking would be cancelled.

Portal del Sur

the hostel is actually more like a hotel. It is old, beautiful and classy. The service is good and the rooftop terrace is comfortable. If you are a young single traveller I would however recommend going elsewhere, since it is not the most social hostel but more a place where you stay with your girlfriend/boyfriend

Vying to be the friendliest staff ever seen. They seemed very keen on making the hostel your home away from home. Hostel had character and a chilled vibe. On the downside the showers were pretty bad and as always it bugs me a bit when there is no hand soap in the bathrooms. It was a bit of a quiet hostel, so if ur looking for a party u might want to look another place, but definitely a good place to chill and meet fellow backpackers.
