Perfect hostel, has everything you need: space, atmosphere, hot and strong showers, excellent kitchen; only the wifi could be better. But that is Bolivia. Stay here when you're going to Sucre!!
Staff varies, the guy that received us didn't seem to know what to do and didn't talk much. The lady that was there the next day was very friendly and helpful. Basic, clean rooms, no heating, basic breakfast included. Location: a 10 min walk through dark streets to the main street. All in all an ok choice for a short stay.
The Hostel is a bit out of the center, about 15 min walk from Plaza de Armas, but really quiet and cosy. Reliable hot showers, good wifi, breakfast included. All in all a good choice for people who don't look for a party hostel. Would recommend to stay there.
Hot shower, heater in the room, nice fluffy blankets, so you won't freeze here. For one night in Aguas Calientes it's a good option, cheap, clean and with many restaurants around. There's not much social life or atmosphere in the hostel, but you'll probably get up early anyways to go to Machu Picchu.
A bit out of the center, but that means really quiet and relaxed. Nice garden and terrace to sit outside, reliable hot showers, very helpful and friendly staff. We left our luggage to go to MP over night, and came back, and our bags were waiting in our room at 2 am., really nice! Breakfast is standard, but included. Recommended.
Nice staff, clean rooms with fan, swimming pool! Would have stayed longer if we could. Offer tours to the jungle which were really a great experience for a readonable price.
Talkative owner, nice tv area with cosy sofas. Kitchen is old and not very well maintained or clean, but functional. The room we stayed in smelled very moldy, and the bathroom could be cleaner.
Nice and helpful staff, wifi is sometimes a bit weak and doesn't work in all the rooms. We had a huge twin room right above the market, which was a bit noisy until 11pm, but that was no big thing. Nice dining room and rooftop terrace next to the kitchen. All in all I would stay there again.
Very clean, great facilities, in a good walking distance to town with bars and restaurants nearby, but bring earplugs if you want to have a quiet sleep (big intersection and thin house walls). I would definitely stay here again.
Good location in a short walking distance into town, very friendly and helpful owner. Kitchen could use some more cutlery and new cups. Nice, clean rooms. Would definitely stay here again.
Location is a bit far from old town, but that's not a big deal, walking distance to Mariscal. The beds are superb, the staff is really friendly, funny and helpful. Good lockers, good security, great view from the common area. I can definitely recommend this place! And I'll be back!
Very friendly staff and a lot of things to do in the evening at the hostel (Trivia nights, movies, pilates). Clean dorm with big beds, shared bathhroom outside in the backyard. Access to friendly tuktuk drivers via the hostel. Great hangout area in front of the hostel, rooftop area. Would definitely stay there again.
The hostel is located near the riverside a bit outside the town of Kampot. Very good for a few days of chilling out. The rooms are open bamboo huts with moskito nets and soft mattresses, very cosy. The hostel staff and the food is excellent. Very quiet at night, but there are several places right next door if you want to have a party if you want. The facilities are basic, shower head is made from a coconut. I would definitely stay there again,
Clean, big place with a good common area inside and outside. Lockers from mesh, so you can charge your phone inside your locker. Location good, next to royal palace and riverside. Good food.
Located at a 15 min walk from downtown, which is not really a bis thing. Good, clean pool, good common area with restaurant. Dorms clean, good facilities with dry bathroom because of bath tub. Friendly, helpful staff but not sure if they offer the best prices for buses and such. Bicycle rent in front of the entrance.
Small dorms with hard beds, lockers for every bed with no own light, facilities average. Hostel owner a little annoying when offering you trips. Place is hard to find, but a short walk into city center.
Dorms are very humid, the walls are wet in the morning and have mold stains everywhere. Facilities good, staff friendly. Lockers are old but seemed to be safe enough. Breakfast is poor, bar is nice with free beer at happy hour (but beer contains chili seeds, so don't be surprised of the taste). Good location to explore the old quarter.
Friendly and helpful staff, nice common area to meet other travelers, walking distance to night market and riverside. Great movie room. Facilities quite dirty and narrow.
Quite a dirty place, but good atmosphere to meet others. A 10 min walk from the city center.
Located above the main town, but a short walk into the center, which is not a big thing. Dorms with matresses on the floor, big hangout areas and a campfire every night. The staff is great, lockers at the reception.
Big, comfy dorm beds, with lockers in the room. Good atmosphere though only a small common area consisting of a table with benches at the front of the hostel.
Such a warm welcome by the lovely hostel lady! We got free water upon arrival and a free boat trip. Clean, cosy place, not so easy to find though. A bit of a walk into the city. But I would definitely stay there again.
Nice hostel for young people who want to get in touch with other backpackers, you will meet many travelers here. In a few minutes walking distance to the Khao San Road and the more chilled side streets. No privacy in the small washrooms. Aircondition in the big dorm set to below zero at nights, so that many people got a cold there. A friend got a bad rash at her back probably from leaning at the wall in the lobby. Beds covered with plastic foil under the sheets, so that you will start to sweat.
