The description on the site makes the Ship look much fancier than it is. Cabins are TINY, with no space for luggage at all. WiFi is free, but only accecible on the deck and if you're lucky: it's a free town WiFi. It's rather humid on the ship (which, i guess, is natural), but combined with 15C temperatures on the outside it can be an issue. The boiler broke down at some point and there was no hot water in the shower for more that 12 hours. We fled the ship 3 nights earlier than planned.
A really nice place, conveniently situated if you're into parties and/or Rijksmuseum. You'll have to walk for a while or take a tram to get to the Red Light district or Rembrands house, though. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Except for the last day, when we forgot that it was our last day in Amster. And we returned in the late afternoon to find our things all crammed into a garbage bag in the backroom beside the bin. Not nice.
Nice place, conveniently situated. Both good if you're a solo quiet traveller or a fun student company in search of party time.
Saff was nice and helpful. Breakfast is a thing i never expected to get, so it's a huuuuge plus for the hostel karma... But cleanlines is ... my godness! terrible! toilets, common room... And your microvawe oven definetely needs to be changed! it's disgusting just to open it!
nice, fun, good, clean, comfortable, good location
Nice quiet place to stay. Close to the heart of the Old Town, but away from all the hustle-and-bustle of the main tourist routes. Friendly and helpful staff, cozy kitchen and common area... :0)
