Nice hostel quite close to the pier. Friendly staff and comfortable beds but no locker or place to store your stuff and WiFi doesn't really work (probably because it's on a tiny island!). All families staying here when we stayed, so not much atmosphere.

The staff are mostly nice (Sasha is very helpful and friendly, and she did my washing for free) and the location is excellent. BUT, this was my last stop on the trans-siberian train and this hostel had the worst WiFi, the dirtiest shower (downstairs), and some of the most unfriendly guests! There were not enough showers because one wasn't working and I woke up with many strange bites one morning (not mosquito...). Also very overpriced. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

Staff were excellent and they had acivities planned for the hostel. There are many other travellers staying here and everyone is very friendly. Hostel is good value because the breakfast is excellent. Would stay here again.

The two girls running this place are friendly but this is literally just someone's apartment. I felt uncomfortable, as I did not see any other guests. The apartment is almost impossible to find and when I was there the downstairs bell was broken (so I could not let them know I was there or get into the building). Some kind Russian rang the phone number a few times but no one answered (someone finally accidentally let me in!). No where near the city centre. Only good thing is that it's so cheap.

Nice hostel with an excellent shower (very important if you've been on the train!). The man working at the front desk was very kind but, as he could not speak a word of English, was unable to give advice about the city and there were no city maps or other information available at the hostel. The hostel is also difficult to find at first because it says it's 52 Lenin Street but it's actually on Markovskogo. Nice enough, overall, but may be better hostels in Krasnoyarsk.
Thank you for the feedback your opinion is important for us! Recently we hhired new staff who speaks english. Also in a few days we will put a pointer on Lenina street so our tourists will not have any difficulties to find us. Hostel "HOVEL"

Lovely capsule style hostel in the middle of all of all of the tourist sights. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They give great advice about what to see and do. A bit of a trek from the train staion if you have heavy luggage but you can get a taxi for just 200r.

Hostel is a two bedroom apartment with one toilet, one shower, a living room and a kitchen, but it's location is excellent (right next to Lenin head) and the staff are lovely and fluent in English. You get your own locker and key for the front door. However, Ulan Ude itself doesn't have too many interesting things and I wouldn't stay there for more than one night.

This is a lovely hostel in the centre of Vladivostok. The best thing about the hostel is Jana, one of the receptionists. She is helpful, friendly, chatty and speaks excellent English. However,I slept in a room with only one other Russian who asked me did I want to climb into his bed to keep him warm (using Google translate)! I would say that this is a place to finish, rather than start your trip, as there are so few other customers.

If you are flying into Kansai airport the location is perfect (only one train line). The staff are great and the house is a beautiful traditional old place. Many interesting people were staying in this house when I stayed there. However, there is only one toilet and one shower for the entire house, which can get fairly tedious. As well, if you want to go out, etc. , this is not the place for you. At least 15 minutes from Namba on the train, plus the walk. Last train out of Osaka is at 12am.

Very clean, helpful staff, beautiful building and common area. Outside onsen is lovely. However, is a good walk up a steep hill, further than we realised from the village and is also very expensive for a hostel.

Very clean rooms and location is perfect. So close to the port and a very easy to walk to the centre. However, staff were definitely not overly friendly, internet wasn't great and it was very noisy at night. The wooden beds are very creaky! Overall, I would recommend, but don't expect to have a great rest in this hostel.
Thank you for staying MyPlace and writing a review. We are sorry about the uncomfortable during your stay. Thank you for the review that let us know where the problem are. We will keep training our staff and renew our facility. Looking forward to welcome you again if we have another chance. MyPlace

This is a new hostel with an owner who knows what people want! Very clean, beautiful facilities, good showers, excellent breakfast. I was one of the only two guests staying, however. As well as this, there was some sort of... confusion... at the end, where the staff tried to overcharge me by 500 rupees, so be careful of that!
Thank you for taking the time to write this review, we always appreciate to hear that you enjoyed your stay. I am terribly sorry that there was a confusion with the staff when you were checking out and I can assure you it would have just been confusion and nothing more. I will look into the matter anyway, we hope to see you again when you are next in Colombo. Matt

This is a nice hostel in the middle of the fort. There were plenty of other guests staying, so it's a good hostel if you're travelling alone. The guy who works at the front desk was really helpful and funny - he made everyone feel very comfortable. He also makes a lovely breakfast in the morning!

This was the best hostel I have ever stayed in! Wendy, the owner, is amazing. She brought all of the guests to a very local Korean restaurant to show us how to eat and drink like the locals. She also introduced me to the other guests travelling alone, which was nice. Very close to metro. Very clean. Very good breakfast. Excellent!

We ararrived late but were still welcomed and given advice on where wwe could park, etc. We're told the wrong time for breakfast so came down late but the owner was very nice and told us to help ourselves.

In the centre of the old city, can get private en suite rooms for a very reasonable price. Staff were very friendly, although one spoke absolutely no English. Shower was terrible and bathroom smelled bad, but to be expected in an old building.

Free drink every night!I learned how to play beer pong (: Staff were very helpful, especially Melissia when I had to change around the dates, she was very accomodating. Good location downtown, but bare in mind that San Fran is a huge city so it still takes awhile to get around! Also, don't stay here if you are looking for some peace and quiet! Very fun hostel, great value for money, would def stay here again next time I'm in San Francisco (:

Staff were very unhelpful and some actually made my friend and I uncomfortable. Value for money was good though and the location is good, located only 2min from the strip but if you have the money, it would be worth staying somewhere nicer.

Staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Pedro and Alex (and AZ, I suppose!)! Location is good, buses a couple of minutes walk from the hostel go to Venice Beach, Santa Monica, Hollywood and Downtown L.A. and are really cheap. Kitchen facilities are excellent. Only problem was lack of activities but you can always make your own fun (:
