Brutal- the dorm I was in was 2 floors underground. There's no social atmosphere or good areas to chat to others. 1 shower and 1 toilet between 2 dorms is ridiculous, have to get up an hour earlier each morning to ensure you'd be able to go out clean. The location is good, but it's not worth it. Stay somewhere nicer further away.

Great hostel near the old town and the bridge. Clean, quiet, safe and everything you would want from a hostel. Really enjoyed my time here.

Such a great hostel- it’s small enough that you get to meet so many new people and the common area is always filled with people. The common area is in between everything so you can’t help but be social and friendly. I’m a solo traveller so I was a bit worried, but it’s a wonderfully friendly spot. Josko was such a gent- he arranged to pick me up from the airport and it was no problem when my flight was super delayed, past normal checkin times! Overall clean, good air con and quiet.

I couldn't check in on time and there was no apology or time indication given to me. The staff didn't seem remotely bothered. When I got to the room there was blood on my mattress. When I informed staff they told me to put a sheet over it- hardly hygienic!

The room was like a prison cell- nothing like the pictures. There was no atmosphere in the hostel and the tours advertised on hostelworld weren't running. While the location was good, it was the only benefit of this hostel.
Hi, we are sorry to see you were unhappy with the room. We value all feedback we receive from our guests because it helps us to improve the hostel for future guests who will stay with us. Despite your issues with the hostel, we hope you were still able to enjoy your stay on the French Riviera.

It's a cool hostel, pretty small like all places in HK are, good location and cool common areas where you can meet others, but the only major flaw was that when I arrived I'd to wait a few extra hours to check in. This was similar for most people, who often had to wait until 4/5pm. I was so tired and jetlagged it really ruined my mood. Otherwise it was a pretty cool place.

Lovely hostel, friendly staff with a great location. Excellent for solo travelers as the layout of the hostel encourages people to hang out in the communal area. The only thing against it is that the air con is kept off in the dorms during the day with no way to turn it on. I was hoping for a nap and found it impossible without it. I wouldn't mind, but wasn't told before I arrived which was disappointing.
