One of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. Last highlight in our 5 months traveling.
Amazing building. The large dorms feel surprisingly private and spacious. All in all an amazing place except the staff. While they did their duties and were polite one never felt any warmth or interest from them. All in all a great experience.
Funky and top notch. Best hostel I have stayed in for a long time.
We arrived at checkin to find the staff on siesta. They completely close from 1:00 til 4;30 pm every day despite a 2pm check in. No one is there to even hold bags. The 6 bed rooms are so tiny there is only a 40 cm gap between the bathroom and beds. The window barely opens as one of the bunk beds is jammed against the window. If you take advantage of their free tea you have to boil your water in the microwave. Staff are rarely around. The smoking area is directly outside hostel rooms.
Excellent in every respect for a hostel.
Amazing home stay like experience. Amazing wonderful hospitable family despite lack of English. A little far from the centre.

Amazing location. Fantastic atmosphere. Our only complaint was the showers were getting old. Some had issues with the shower head making them unusable. Over all a great experience.
As the only hostel in Baku this is the best and only option. The staff are good and the place is clean. The location is unbeatable. They can organize private taxis to surrounding sights but make sure you bargain. Leaving a bag for a few hours if you are leaving the hostel late is incredibly expensive at about 19$ US dollars. Mattresses are extremely old and hard and the far corners of the large dorm are a little musty.
Excellent value for money at this predominantly long term resident hostel. Generally safe and clean the atmosphere is like one big happy international family. The major drawback is not the distance from the city but the steep public London public transit fees. Add at least 12 pounds a day for transport to and from the city center.
Good value at twice the price. This hostel could be a little cleaner (cleaner than most hostels we have stayed at) but it is a wonderful experience. The owner is very kind with great English. The three puppies and kitten are very cute. This has been one of the most memorable hostels we have been in. Dont expect lots of other foreigners, a restaurant or lots of facilities. Expect an authentic kind Chinese experience (minus the spitting).
Excellent place. Bustling with backpackers. Great restaurant. Cheap beer. Lots to do. Cool location.
Awesome spot. Awesome room. Awesome staff. Great pizza and movies at night. Make sure you hike up the peak nearby. Don't do the river hike as described by Lonely Planet. The trail is now half concrete road and the last two ferries aren't going anymore. "Bamboo rafts" charge as much to cross the river as doing the entire river.
Amazing friendly staff. Excellent value private rooms. Excellent food. Close to the bus and train station. We can not say enough about this place. Top notch!!!
Amazing location right on the harbour. Incredibly friendly manager who took the time to answer our questions using google translate. However if he suggests you buy bus tickets from the hostel be wary as they tend to wait to the last minute meaning you may not get the bus you want. He booked the tickets 12 hrs after receiving the money. Over all highly recommended.
Overall great place. Easy to find and not to far from the beach. Staff very friendly and went out of their way. Free boogie boards and rubber beach rings were a nice touch. Outdoor shower was great.
Possibly the best hostel in China. A residential set up on the 15th floor of a building this hostel feels more like a visit to a long lost friend. I wish we could have stayed longer. Incredible experience.
Excellent clean place. The lady in charge there is wonderful.
Excellent place. Keep in mind this is Hong Kong and small rooms are the norm. Can't recommend this place enough.
