Hostel Patua do Pelourinho

Good hostel for the price paid. The rooms were small, which could be a problem if they're fully occupied, but other than that it was good. The staff didn't have much information/ resources (especially about buses), perhaps because it's a new hostel, so you're better off finding out information from the tourist info points. Breakfast was really good, with freshly baked cakes, fresh fruit and juices along with the usual bread, ham and cheese.

The hostel was really difficult to find - there should have been better signage put up to help people find their way. I had to ask 4 different people before someone could direct me. [Best way would be to turn into the alley/street at no. 28 and then you will see the hostel] Not much room for interaction between hostel guests too.

I had a nice stay in this "hostel". It's a little out of the way, and not that near the city center, but it's pretty accessible by tram/metro. The owners of the B&B were hospitable and friendly and willing to accommodate my needs.
