You get what you pay for - beds aren't exactly comfortable, few power sockets, kitchen dreadful, showers downright awful. But it seems reasonably safe (warning in the hallway indicates that thieves operate there, though), and well-located. Other guests were absolutely fine.
Staff were quite inconsiderate upon my surprise at the holding deposit - I don't believe that this was listed on this website although they claimed otherwise. I've no time to check, but it was hardly 'good customer service'. Otherwise, perfectly adequate for the price, and I've no complaint other than the fact that instead of providing breakfast, you have to go to a nearby café - although you are offered a discount. Great location - if you're leaving early (before 8), walk through the parks!!
Hostelworld said there were tea and coffee making facilities - in actual fact, there were not, as apparently providing breakfast covered this. I consider this to be utter nonsense, and misleading for the client who has to leave damn early.
No complaints at all, very good on all counts although this is coming from someone who booked a single room and ended up being upgraded to a double!
Very well-run, albeit a tad soulless.
