i wouldnt recommend to walk from the station to the hostel since its a quite a walk and carrying luggage in the heat of the sun is not that much fun. the hostel itself is not far from the beach in jaffa but you should keep in mind that its more like a party hostel. the roof is very nice to hang out but it can get crowded and loud. regarding the staff, it was kinda hard to figure out who was working there and who not. there were a lot of volunteers but it was not clear from the begining.

Heart of Gold Hostel

Berlin, Germany

I'd not recommend this hostel if you need a rest. But for partying and meeting new people it's quite good. There is a lounge with computers and a bar where you can hang out and the reception is also in that room. Since it also seems to be a good spot for group travelling, you might have to wait some time to talk to someone at the reception. The rooms are pretty empty, there are no facilities except for a locker and you have to put clean sheet on your bed (provided) by yourself.

Nice hostel in Berlin Kreuzberg. Staff is friendly and the breakfast (included) is delicious :) You're just a few steps away from the Spree river and some nice cafes. Even though it's kind of weird that you have to go through the cafe/restaurant from the hostel to get to you room and it's first confusing if you have to enter this restaurant or find another entrance, it has its own charme.

Hostel Jamaika

Clean and well located hostel. Staff is friendly and a kitchen including breakfast is being offered. Unfortunately, there is no wifi on the 2nd floor. But you can rent a bike and drive around.

Grand hostel LerO

Split, Croatia

(+): -shared but really clean bathroom -balkony -quite big room (-): -no table or little light in the room (just one old bed and a closet) -no aircon -aprox. 10 min to the center on foot, but the hostel is on a hill (exhausting to get that hill up with luggage) -two buildings (common room is in the main building) others: free parking is correct, but you have to be lucky to get a parking space (no private parking)

Ed House (Tripnbed Guesthouse)

Seoul, South Korea

ed house is a great place to stay at. the hostel is clean, you get breakfast, the location is fantastic and the owner ed is an incredibly helpful person. he takes care of everything and helps you when you're having problems of any kind. the atmosphere in the hostel itself is quite unique, it's like living in a shared flat with your friends. it's easy to get to know the other guests, because ed is introducing everyone and when he's not too busy, he even goes out with everyone to have dinner.

Paris Guesthouse

Hong Kong, Hong Kong

i arrived very late at night & some curious men were still gathering in the building complex. but since i read some other reviews here, i was 'prepared' but i guess you won't find a better one for this price. to make it more clear, i'm gonna put it like this: +every day clean towel +hot drinking-water in room +central (close to metro) -small room (hard for huge luggage) -one 'bathroom' for whole floor -bathroom was sleazy -one elevator for 16 floors or creepy stairwell with many cockroaches

nice hostel in hongdae. just a few minutes to the subway station and to the shopping district. mixed-room was quite good and also had a small kittchen and a balkony. the common room was really pretty and there was enough space to relax there.
