Hollywood Youth Hostel

Great location, right opposite Hollywood & Highland train station, with plenty of places to get your food shopping. The one downside is that there isn't a stove, so you're limited to microwavable food. BUT- the pool table makes up for all of it. Clean place, good atmosphere, noisy if you're in the rooms above the street, but that's what you get for staying in Hollywood.

This place is great value for money in vegas, and in a good location halfway between Fremont and the strip. The bathrooms were kept really clean, which was a nice surprise, and the atmosphere very social (and noisy).

This place is great, a lovely homey place to relax after the madness of Mexico City. The staff are so friendly, the breakfast is amazing and different every day and it's only a 20 minute walk to the centro historico. Great value for money.

Overall a great place; the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The organised events were a definite plus (flamenco and walking tour). The top floor hangout area also has a computer with a printer. Handy! Also a great hammock. Just two things - there's no real kitchen and the bathroom in the dorm is not separated enough from the beds. This means that if you get back late and want to brush your teeth, you'll wake everyone up.

This is a great hostel. It's very small, but this plays in its favour as it makes it so easy to meet people! The atmosphere is great, and while the street noise is definitely noticeable as you're on the first floor just above a busy tapas/shopping street, it's also great for people watching. The staff were very helpful and I felt comfortable almost immediately. It's expensive, but I guess that's just San Sebastian for you.

A fantastic place. Really close to the station (five mins walk) yet somehow still peaceful and secure. A lovely little apartment converted into a hostel, very pleasant to be in, with attentive and friendly staff.

Incredible staff, so friendly and helpful. Great living room with TV, DVDs, Wii games and a big table to eat dinner at, or catch up on some work. Comfy beds, really good value for money.

I'll give credit where credit's due: the bathrooms are clean enough and the ensuite shower is a bonus. It's all downhill from there. We put money away in the room when we went out, not realising that the cleaners were going to come in. After they did, the money was gone, and the staff were completely uncooperative and rude about it when we confronted them. We never got our money back. The cherry on the cake was being covered in bites from the bedbugs. Go elsewhere for the love of god!

This was a great hostel. Squeaky clean, great location, comfy bed, hot shower. TV room with a big TV as well, good for watching films with the people you meet in your dorm... Although you have to pay extra for linen and breakfast, the breakfast is really good, so probably worth it.
