Cruz del Sur Hostel

Cruz Del Sur was a clean hostel in a good location, with generally helpful staff. The thing we didn't like about the property was that it all seemed very patronizing, and the layout/wi-fi was poor. As soon as you walked in you were immediately told to take off your shoes, and every single room had at least two or three printed out laminated papers adorned with a list of rules - don't do this, don't do that, etc. If you broke them, they would "ask you to leave". It was tense. Cool dog though.

Bodega was the best hostel I've stayed at, and that's saying something since I've been traveling for months and have worked at several! It's clean, the facilities are top notch and custom designed, and the three brothers Ben, Brian and Daniel who own the place maintain a great mix of professionalism and laid back good vibes. Whether you're looking for a bed to crash in or a place to meet others, you can't go wrong at Bodega. Good food, good alcohol, good company. Stay there if you're in Bangkok!

The twin private room was clean, secure, and in an excellent location next to the St. Stephen's Basilicia. Me and my lady friend had a great time there. My only complaint would be that the private room we were placed in doubled as their laundry facility, so most of the day there were employees coming and going.
