This was a really lovely place & a great location to relax & enjoy the beach. They have a braai on every day and you just bring your own meat etc and sit round and cook and relax and get chatting. It is just off the main road so close to the shops and restaurants and you can walk to the beach. Our room was clean and with a nice bed, just not the greatest shower. There is a full kitchen to use which is great and a chill out t.v area as well as the bbq area. I would definitely stay here again.

There were security gates & always staff there throughout the night so we felt very safe. It is near the City Centre & Umhlanga, but not much on your doorstep. The staff were great, especially the owner. It was quiet when we were there, but the atmosphere was still good and there are good places to relax and get talking with others. It was clean and had all the basic facilities you need. Overall it was very good value for money and we decided it was the perfect location to enjoy the beaches

We arrived evening time & were picked up at the ariport, a service arranged easily via e-mail through the wonderful Cookie. When we arrived Cookie couldn't do enough to help us. I'd read a bit about her on other reviews and wondered what all the hype was about, but she more than lived up to expectations, She was soooo lovley, friendly and welcoming. Her approach is very relaxed but organised and she really made us feel at ease. The room was amazing, beautiful and clean, wish we had stayed longer.

room was dingy, and a bit dirty, cellotaped wall paper isn't reall good enough for what we paid. also they need to put some lights outside so you can find it easier at night. and maybe some lights for on the staris inside, cos those stairs are pretty steep to negotiate in pitch black. staff were quite nice. but didnt seem to care too mucg about the fact we had no hot water till the last night!
