Nice hostel with helpful staff. The only disadvantage is that is a bit out of the city centre (Old Almaty), located on the road which leads to Medeu/Chimbulak ski resort.

Second time in this hostel, great atmosphere and friendly staff as always! I felt like at home, highly recommended!
Clean and cozy hostel close to the city centre. The lady who runs the hostel is very friendly and helpful (she booked me a taxi to the airport for the amazing price of 1250 tenge), even though she does not speak much English. Definitely recommended, will stay there again next time I go to Almaty.
The hostel is basically a the guest room in the apartment of a Kazakh family. The Kazakh girl who runs the hostel is really kind and helpful. Not easy to find: it is located within one of the buildings of the huge Nomad apartment block structure. Once you get in the Nomad inner yard, pay attention to the blue house number signs which every building has at the entrance, and look for the one including apartment n.112.
Amazing value for money, many facilities including a restaurant.
Nice hostel, quite big 10 min walking from the city centre. Common room really crowded in the evening, hard to find a place to sit; wi-fi signal unstable and low in the rooms. Clean and convenient; Just one defect, no lockers avalaible neither in the rooms nor in the common spaces.
Really nice and helpful staff, we paid 8 euro per night and we even got free breakfast. The hostel is located in a nightlife district, so it is quite noisy at night; anyway the location is good in order to access to the public transportation system and explore the city. Toilets and shower really small, it was rather unconfortable using them.
Really nice hostel, fantastic owner. I was picked up at the train station and i got a ride also on the way back, all for free. Nice athmosphere there, great room with tv, ventilators and wifi.
Good location and unbeatable price. I chose the 21 bedroom, u sleep with 20 people and u have only one bathroom (toilet and shower). The beds are bunk beds with 3floor (sometimes is difficult to enter there), probably from the beginning of the 20th century! When u get the keys u have to leave your passport. You ll get it back only when u re leaving. I didn't like this at all. They charge about 2-3 marks more in the bill (probably for some taxes, that i ve never got somewhere else in Bosnia).
Helpful and friendly staff, nice hostel but not so easy to get there.
The guy that is running the hostel is very nice and helpful. The place is a bit difficult to find but there you have all the facilities that u need. Some problems with the wifi in the room.

Really nice place, located in the city centre. It's a bit small, only one bathroom for girls and one for boys, sometimes might be a problem!the staff is really helpful and friendly.
you are staying in a nice new house. It seems that u rent an apartment more than u re staying in an hostel! Perfect place, really and the landlady is nice and helpful
The rooms are located in a dormitory of architecture students. The building is quite big but also really old. Bathrooms sometimes re not working properly, u have only one key per room so every time that u go out u have to leave it at the reception. The position is good, close to metro red . Anyway for the price is ok.
Best owner ever!
