I stayed in the 4 bed dorm room and it was perfect! This is a very new hostel and the facilities are perfect, the showers are nice and hot, everything is perfectly clean, the wifi works great throughout the hostel and the breakfast is awesome!! I stayed for 4 nights and it's a perfect for day trips to Mt Etna, Syracuse, Taoramina. and easy to transfer to the Aeolian Islands. I definitely recommend this hostel.

This hostel is a bit far out from the main attractions, but bus routes are great (stop out front door) and metro is 7min walk. it is very clean and Christina(?) is a really nice host who provides great info for the city. The wifi is good through out the hostel and the price is really great - I can happily recommend this hostel and will stay here again when I'm back in Rome :)

This is the BEST place to stay in Florence. I had an amazing time thanks to Nadina and Elio who are amazing hosts. They personally prepare your breakfast which is a perfect setup for the day, they know all the best places to eat, things to do and see and Nadina will draw everything out on the map for you. wifi is perfect through the hostel, and the bathrooms are always clean. It's a small, cozy, friendly hostel, & after 5months of travel this was one of my top 3 hostels.

I only stayed two nights, but it was clean and a good base to explore the city. the staff were very helpful and friendly. it was quiet while I was there, but it didn't have the small hostel type feel to it, but it was still a nice to place to stay and I would stay again if I were back. the wifi was not the best though.

wifi did not work in the rooms. the hostel is more like a hotel than a hostel as it a big complex. the staff are friendly though and great with recommendations for the local area. the hostel is close to the metro stop. and the bathrooms were cleaned everyday.

the wifi was good throughout the hostel but they were having serious problems with the showers throughout the building either burning hot or freezing cold. the breakfasts are the best. but the hostel has around 600 rooms so there are a lot of people around and it doesn't have the homely hostel feeling. it does have the perfect location of being only 3 mins away from Gare du Nord train station. it is a big hostel so don't expect too much personal service, as they are always too busy.

This is an awesome hostel to stay in Barcelona. Staff treat you as a person and not a customer and you feel at home. The location for the hostel is just on the outskirts, but it's really easy to walk into the old town and there's a nice walk along the river front. The wifi is good throughout the hostel and the bathrooms are nice and clean. The rooms surround the common area so can be a little noisy when there's a big crowd as the walls are thin. There are basic kitchen facilities, and the standard breakfast. Overall it was a nice stay.

This is not a travellers hostel, it's more a pension. It was okay for one night, the bathroom of the room I was in was clean, but the wifi didn't work well. The staff did not speak English so there was a little communication breakdown, and if getting there after hours I would suggest trying to make contact with them before you arrive as staff only work certain hours. There was no common area and although they stated they had washing facilities - they didn't. Overall it was okay for a stopover.

This so far is in my top list of hostels. Even though the layout is apartment like, it really works. I stayed in a 12 bed dorm and it had more than I have had in some 4 bed dorm rooms. the hostel is relatively new so its modern and very clean. the bunk beds are comfy as they still seem new, and it was so great to have a shower that worked always well, and always with hot water and clean. the beds also have their own power sockets to charge your gears. the common area outside works great.

I tried to organise a bike hire the night before and the next day there was no one on reception to pick up the bike. there was no welcome to our city this is what we have here, have a great time, and you had to pay for the security locker even though i had my own lock.

This hostel is definitely a party hostel if that's what you're looking for. Their main priority seems to be whether or not you're wanting to join the pub crawl for the night. I only stayed one night, the bathrooms seem clean enough but the rest of the hostel seems to be like a high school students dorm room. The lockers in the rooms had broken locks so it didn't even matter if you had own padlock. The wifi didn't really work as it kept dropping connection and no one seemed to no why.

How many hostels have you stayed in where someone on staff is always on shift maintaining and cleaning. As an avid traveler myself, I´ll promise you, not many. Parties on Friday night in the middle of summer peak season are very likely. The pictures on hostelworld alone should have clarified that for you. In addition the room you stayed in also has a picture on HW (top left). Wifi in Spain, is totally out of our control. We are not a boutique hostel. We are a true backpackers hostel.

The staff at the hostel were friendly and very helpful. The location is perfect for getting around the old town, and they helped me arrange a bike to get around the city which was great. It is a very old building and if you're looking for a hostel with small room (4-5 in a room) this is a good option. It's a quite hostel and nice to get away from the young crowds if that's what you're looking for. Breakfast is simple - two pieces of bread each, cereal a croissant.

The location of this hostel was perfect. Right at the beginning of town and not too far away from everything. the staff are genuinely happy to help and want to make sure you get to see all the sights in town. It is an older hostel and the rooms can be a little hot at night with no air conditioning, but nothing an open window can't resolve. The breakfast was the usual cereal and toast, but always good. The shower was always hot, although it is tiny!! and only one to serve the whole floor.
