Hostel Plinio

Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica

The Hostel is between Quepos and Manuel Antonio. The bad thing is that you better take the bus into both directions, because walking is no fun (no sidewalks). The good thing is that there are plenty of buses. The staff is very friendly and helpfull and the dorm was a big room and clean. Very nice was the balcony and the view to the ocean. In dorm number one was only one locker and you can use a screwdriver to open it in two minutes. The situation in the other dorms is better...

We had a nice and clean room and the breakfast is very good. David and his wife will help you with everything you need. You can also stop every bus to nearly all directions just in front of the house. It would be nice if the kitchen and waste bins are cleaned daily.

You'll find everything what you need and the breakfast is really very good. But the atmosphere in some areas good be better. The open kitchen is not so nice and directly to the TV. Also the rooms 01 and 02. In this two rooms it might be louder until 11pm. Would be nicer to have a separate TV room.

We arrived very late and were very happy to find an open door and a good bed.

A nice place to stay. Antigua isn't a big city - so everything is in walking distance. We had a room with two beds. One was average, the other was better... But everything was clean and the staff very friendly and helpfull.

The best view over the lake and Flores! The owner Neil and his staff Oscar were very helpful, great and friendly people. We spent over a week in Flores. Neil has a new second hostel (Chaltunha Hostel Flores Island) in the center of Flores which is a nice place to stay, too. Neil will help you with nearly everything you need. We recommend it a lot!

It's a great place to stay and the owners are really very friendly and helpfull. Give them a little bit more time to build a kitchen and you find here one of the best hostel/hotel in Tulum. There is a big supermarket around and you can easily rent a bike to go to the city center, beach or ruins.

A really good breakfast and you are just in the center of the town. You can take a few cheap tours with Oscar to the sea or Uxmal. So it's a good place to stay.
