Ali's Guest House, Goreme, Turkey

This is a good choice in Goreme, convenient location with friendly and helpful staff. The common areas are nice and make it easy to meet other travelers. Security isn't great however, as there are no lockers and no keys for the room. Also be aware that the tours booked through the hostel are with specific companies, and some are definitely better than others so you should do your own research. But enjoyed my time here and would recommend it!

This is a great hostel to stay at in Istanbul! I stayed here at the beginning and end of my month in Turkey. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the rooms are spacious (with lockers! not a feature anywhere else I went in Turkey). There's also a great rooftop bar and it's really easy to meet other travelers. Location is perfect - close to all the major sites as well as the trams. Totally recommended!

We had such an amazing time at this hostel! The atmosphere is so good, with family dinners every night (thanks PJ!) providing a great way to meet everyone. The location is also perfect - away from the tourist area, with great local tapas bars around, but also within walking distance to La Rambla and the gothic quarter. I loved it here and made some great friends, I will definitely stay here next time I come to Barcelona.

We spent Christmas at this hostel and had the BEST time! The family dinners made it so easy to make friends, and the nightly outings led by the staff were so much fun. This is a really relaxed and fun hostel, with a great communal atmosphere - it really felt like home. The facilities are great and the location is perfect for exploring Prague. I will definitely stay here next time I'm in Prague!

We had a great time at this hostel. It was quiet at the time we were in Sarajevo, but the small and communal vibe of the hostel made it easy to meet people. The staff are also fantastic, and really passionate about their city. We had everything we needed here, including a very usable kitchen and dining room. It's also a great location for exploring Sarajevo. Would definitely stay here again!

Pride of Paddington, London, England

This is a hostel above a pub, with pretty basic rooms and facilities. The major draw card is the location, in the middle of Paddington within walking distance to Hyde park and some great restaurants, as well as close to the underground and buses. If you just want somewhere to sleep and shower, this is a good option.

We were happy with this hostel. The location, although not central, was convenient for getting around Paris since Gare du Nord was only a couple of minutes walk away. The atmosphere was pretty good, and the bar downstairs had decent food and live music some nights. The rooms were fantastic, really spacious and with curtains around each bed. The only real downside was the showers - they were either completely cold or so hot it burnt. All in all though, a good option for accommodation in Paris.
