this hostel is in a good location in the nicest part of a bad town, very near lots of places to eat and drink. It has great hot showers all day which is what you want after the salar. the beds are also very comfy and warm. However the staff are not very friendly and one girl on reception was particularly rude and grumpy and unhelpful. The breaksfast is rubbish just bad bread and jam. A fine place to stay for one night only.

Great staff who are so helpful in every way, many tours and activities each day and night and the rooms are fairly spacious. Stayed in a 6 bed e suite which had a hair dryer which was a nice treat. The rooms at the front are very loud but those at the back of the courtyard are not really at all. The wifi only works downstairs which is a bit of a pain but there are plenty ouches downstairs to chill out on and relax. Overall a cool place to stay and good for meeting other travellers, very social.

Friendly helpful staff who are willing to arrange any tours or transfers. Good location just across from the bus station. Rooms are very dark with hardly any natural light coming in and not very bright bulbs. Good kitchen area. Would stay there again.

Hostel was under construction when I stayed but it will be a very cool place. Interesting decor and a cool vibe. Good wifi which you can get while on the beach just across the road. Hammocks to relax and chill out in front of the tv. Only a 5 min walk from the historical centre. A good breakfast - fruit , ham, cheese and rolls. Friendly and helpful staff .

Facilities are good but there was no atmosphere whatsoever. Staff were not very helpful besides outlining the basics in the map the first day. The kitchen is closed most of the evening so we couldn't cook, unless it was really early before dinner. The pool is tiny and always in the shade, don't be mislead by the pictures.

Staff were excellent, so friendly nod helpful. We missed our bus and had to stay an extra night and they were so accommodating. 3 tier bunks are a pain but these were not the worst , its to be expected in Rio. A nice cosy atmosphere in the bar which is great for meeting people... And a free caipirinha on arrival! Also a great all you can eat breakfast . Will definitely stay here again.
