Close to the public transportation and easy to travel to/from the airport. Acceptable facilities but no washing machine here. Staffs are mostly friendly and helpful. One or two, maybe the supervisor are bit moody and sour face all the time. Overall this place is not too bad at all.

It's a bit hard to get to this hostel from Congonhas airport. Metro is about 10 min walking. Might want to consider your backpack weight. Like other Brazilian hostel, no kettle and laundry facility. Nice kitchen but no toaster and bowls. Friendly and helpful staffs.

It might be common for Brazilian hostel not to have electric kettle and bowl. Brazilian style breakfast provided was good and enough to start the day with various choices. Helpful and friendly staffs. 5 bedded room might end up in a dungeon. Unpleasant smell at an area in the hostel. Near to metro an beach. Overall this place is OK to stay.

Frankfurt Hostel

The hostel realy close to the central train station. Not only free breakfast but also free pasta dinner too. The internet is not realy good on the 5th floor and there are only 2 bathroom cum toilet on the floor. The 8 bed room that I stayed quite cramp. The door would have big chances to hit the bunk behind it. It would be a nightmare for persons on that bunk.

No communal kitchen or fridge to store your own food. Location is perfect but the security was awful. Suddenly there was a drunken man waking up everyone and turn on the room light in the middle of the night for nonsense reason. Some of the staff are really friendly, some are just so so. Internet not really good on the top floor. There are lots of other hostel nearby which you can pick.

Perfect location, awesome, friendly and helpful staffs. The room is just perfect for travelers. Enough spaces even for the top bunk. I stayed in the 8 beds shared room and it is one of the spacious 8 beds room I ever stayed. Ask anything from the staffs and they will try to help you as much as they could. Even will give you suggestions. Would highly recommend this place.

good location, near to the tourist hot spot. The hostel location is easy to find but but you might end up having problem which is the entrance door. The staffs are friendly and helpful however the management bit poor. Some of the guests are long term local occupant, with lots of personal belonging. In other way round you might annoy them. Seems like you are sharing their room. Would be better to separate them from the short term guests. By the way the staff here do speak acceptable English.

The direction to the hostel given on the "maps and location" is precise. Just follow as instructed and won't get lost. maybe to find which door might be a bit confusing. Great staffs, Daniel and Olia are very helpful and friendly. Facilities are enough for traveler's need. Stayed in 6 shared room. Spacious bunk, with electrical sockets and personal light on each bed. Common room is quite homey and big, clean kitchen. Hostel is tidy.

Domino Hotel

Perfect location for Trans-siberian traveler. A three room apartment turned to a hostel. Might be hard to located if you arrived during the DARK hour because there is no clear sign of which door is the main entrance. The domino logo on the glass can be easily overlooked. Do read the email or any communication received carefully. Overall the hostel is livable, hosts are friendly too. Shops and bank are nearby. Walking distance to some sight spots.

Underneath the bed is dusty. No pantry or kitchen. The toilet were horrible most of the time caused by the improper used by some guests. 4 shared bed room is quite small. A locker in the room can't properly open since obstruct by the big table. However the rest are just fine. Good staffs, perfect location and acceptable price. Food in the bar are marvelous.

The Asian run hostel is a little bit far from the CBD (about 20min walking). About 10min walking to the nearest train station. 5 min walk to commercial centre. The hostel overcome this issue by giving free internet, rice everyday and fruits and pastas once a week. For some, this place might not be the best, but they do offer good deal. The map provided is a bit inaccurate, so better get one from the tourist info. Sleep here, party somewhere else.

The location is quite strategic. Few minutes walk to the bus station along the same road. Almost all basic facilities are there in this hostel with deposit in hand. So if you are about to stay here for quite a long time, make sure you do have some spare cash for the deposit. It's just the way for them to handle the irresponsible backpackers. Staffs are friendly and would recommend this place.

If you wanna spend time in the room then this is not the place. The bed might be a bit small but the rest are acceptable with the value you pay. Way better than the old management. Might need to double check the house keeping, seems like didn't fold properly or change the blanket, just dump under the pillow. Overall are good and acceptable. Variety of tours available to book from the reception. But Joel (can't remember his name), can't believe you try to sell me a tour for senior citizens (AAT Kg) :p.

For a budget accommodation, this can be considered as Hilton. The host is helpful. It does located a bit inside (slum look) from the main road. But by that you can feel the real Indian commoner. If you can't handle to stay in this place than just leave. We cant expect a 5 star service with 1 star cost. So this place has the pros and the cons. You decide.
