Clean, friendly staff, good sized lockers, and decent wi-fi. Walkable to public transport and close to some decent breweries. Only downside when I was there were beds were a bit squeaky, and the atmosphere wasn't too lively

Hostel is well located, with easy walking access to most main sights in the city. Staff were very helpful and the hostel was very clean. Curtains on bunks are a good touch. Only downside was firm can get warm at night, and can sometimes be noisy if you open the window.

Really good spot, walkable to most of the main sights in the city, and can also arrange a good tour to Niagara falls through the hostel. Split in to different buildings so having to go the main building to get to the tiny lockers is the main downside.

Think this is the best hostel I have been to, great friendly staff, food, and atmosphere, and central location.
Really good roof space with lots of seating, ping pong table, which is attached to bar and pool table, big screen area which shows sports. Staff encourage socialising and rooms are comfortable
Decent hostel overall, and it does have a nice bar/common area but due to the fact most people are there before going to Machu Picchu, the atmosphere wasn't great. Everyone was in bed by the time I got there around 10pm, and it made it awkward going to the bathroom/showers as when you do the light spills out into the dorm
Well located, helpful staff, and there were activities every night I was there, with live music in the bar too. Also let me check in my room at 6am which was very much appreciated after an overnight bus journey to Cusco
Definitely worth looking at if you want a party hostel, bar was packed every night I was there. And rooms are also clean, with a decent amount if showers etc. Cheap, and within walking distance of a number of la paz sights
A little away from the main street but only a few minutes walk. Stayed in a comfy private room, most staff did not speak much English
In a quieter area of the city, but not far from subway, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Good kitchen and outdoor common area with a bar.
More like a large house than a traditional hostel, but one of the cleanest hostels I have ever stayed in. Common area is a sitting room, which was a great place for chatting and drinking with other travellers. A bit of a way out of town centre, but walkable
Friendly staff, and comfortable rooms, but hostel could do with a bit of redecoration
Fantastic hostel, with a particularly good common area, with a nice view of Lago Argentina. Staff were also really helpful with booking tours and directions etc. It's a little bit out of the main town but is only a 10 min walk, and there is a great parilla restaurant a little further up the street. Only criticism of the hostel was the top bunk I had didn't have a ladder to it...access was difficult after multiple Quilmes! :)
Good common area, with heated floor and a bar with some very tasty local beers. The crowd was a little quiet when I was there but can imagine it would be very good when lively
Good location, and excellent at night in the bar, with a party which rotates between the 2 Milhouses. Staff were all very friendly and seemed to know everyone's name. Daily tours are worth checking out, very cheap and interesting
Probably has the best staff of any hostel I have stayed in, from Alyona on reception to all the girls who took us out on the pub crawl and made it a fun night. Also organised the tour to Chernobyl for my friends and I which I would recommend.. Cheap bar attached to hostel too which is a good place to start the night. Sometimes difficult to get a seat though. Rooms are comfortable, and location is nice, down the hill from some of the nicest churches in Kyiv
Nice little hostel very close to the centre of town and various bars etc. Staff were helpful in recommending things to do etc. My only complaint would be that it was incredibly warm when I was there, however the new air con system was being installed as I left so that won't be an issue in the future.
Had thought this hostel would have been a lot better than what it was, but was let down by a couple of occasions where the toilets and showers were pretty disgusting. Rooms were comfy though and there is a decent common area, although its probably a little big to easily meet people.
Nice little hostel but could maybe do with some more bathrroms etc. Beds are pretty good though, no getting woken up by someone trying to climb up a squeaky ladder. Great place to meet people as it is quite small, and although away from downtown it is very easy to get there by streetcar or a cheap taxi at night
Not a particularly exciting location but very close to subway making it very easy to get around. Has a very good large common area/kitchen room which is good for meeting other travellers. Relatively expensive compared to other cities but good value for New York
Good location near to Boston Common and walkable to plenty of bars etc. Events on most days organised by the hostel. Decent free breakfast and nice looking place as far as hostels go, plenty of showers and bathrroms available.
Good breakfast, pretty nice bar inside, and comfortable rooms. Staff were enthusiastic and encouraged participation in the karaoke nights etc, and were happy to suggest bars to check out.
Enjoyed my stay here, very easy location to find, and close to plenty of restaraunts and shops. Met some good people in the little bar area they set up on the Friday night for the international party and later went out to pubs with them. Staff were very helpful with tourist information and directions to airport.
Very clean, nice little common room, kitchen area, and rooftop terrace. Good location in between train station and main nightlife area. Walkable to peace park etc. Staff were helpful in recommending good places to eat nearby
Nice bar with decent food selection at pretty reasonable prices. Very clean, has a rooftop terrace, and walkable to train station, bit further from main nightlife area though. Like many hostels in Japan, could do with slightly comfier mattresses, or at least, a second pillow, but that would be my only complaint
Nice clean hostel with easy access from train station. Not on main JR loop line but easy to reach from Ueno on Ginza line. Hostel itself didn't have the liveliest atmosphere but the bar that is shared between the group is a good place to meet people. Staff were also very friendly, with a leaving note made wishing me good luck on the rest of my travels, and they knew everywhere I was planning to visit
Good location, and plenty of bathrooms, all of a decent size and clean. Handy for the main bar/clubs strip, and not too far a walk from Granville Island or Gas town
Good activities most nights to get to know people, and great location for getting to any of the main sights/bars
Don't be expecting a palace when you turn up and you should be fine! Not the nicest hostel ever, but if you want to go for some wild nights out it will be right up your street! Staff are very helpful if you need anything, apart from perhaps tips on where to buy shoes!
Had an excellent night there with a really good group in my dorm. Very cheap hostel in the centre of the old town and the little bar had 1 Euro beers which is always a plus. Rooms were very clean, and actually had brilliant air conditioning, which was a nice change after multiple nights in sweaty rooms where you would be lucky to even have a fan. Only downside was that my room had the washing machine in it, so if you plan on lying in till lunchtime you'd be out of luck
Fairly good hostel but could do with more group activities or more to the common/internet room. Good location in the old town with easy access to most sights
Looks from the outside like you could be walking into a hell hole, but quite nice inside with decent bathrooms. Close to some of the more lively areas of the town for nightlife, and the girl on the desk gave some really good recommendations for some places to go out for eating and drinking
Excellent large hostel with good facilities located midway between the town centre and train station. Very nice inside and would be excellent overall if there were some pub crawls or similar organised from it. Security is particularly good with large swipe key activated lockers in room based on your bed number
Could do with a common and wireless internet, but apart from that had nice sized room and bathroom. Room wasn't particularly lively when we got there but Venice isn't really the best place for a night out anyway. Handily located across the canal from station
Decent bar and good location near train station, but overall wasn't too impressed by hostel as had camera stolen from room. Unsure whether it was people in dorm or not, but the staff were very disinterested when I asked them about it
Excellent location for both the Cathedral and nightlife, was fairly quiet when we stayed but it was January
