Great staff, excellent food, nice view from the rooftop, comfy room, close to the best bits of little Selcuk, plus good advice from the owner regarding Ephesus' Roman ruins. Very good value for money and recommended.

A good location next to the port and shops, but from there this place gets worse. A tiny, grubby, windowless room with rubbish bed and no real facilities to speak of. The staff member was good, putting on the Gallipoli movie for us and organizing coffee etc,it's just a shame the place isn't very appealing at all.

The location is good, although beware of mini-bus drivers not wanting to drop you outside the hostel itself. The place is quite small but reasonably good value for money. The staff are young and speak very good English, but not overly interested in helping you with anything other than the tour basics, but nice guys none the less.

Owner Comment (Hide)
The bus routes and mini bus drivers have nothing to do with us so we don't understand why you comment on them. It seems you had a fine stay with us so why the low rating?

Ellan Vannin Guest House

15 Minutes out of town by bus,10 minutes walk, but very easy to find. It's an old suburban house in a fairly rundown area, but our room was spacious with double bed,tv,microwave,coffee/tea supplied. Little unclean, but it's an old place so that's to be expected. Breakfast was great as was Bob,the owner,a genuinely nice and helpful guy. Shops are a 10 minute walk away,as are pubs (fairly dodgy ones though). Great place for a cheap short term stay.

We stayed in a filthy, hot (no aircon or fan) and noisy room overlooking the street with another (much better) hostel on the same street. The kitchen is shockingly bad,in fact the whole place looks like it's not far from needing to be demolished. The guy that owns/runs the place is a great guy,so I hate to say it but simply do not stay here. Go across the road and get some value.

Very clean hostel with nice, clean rooms. We had a private double for 20 Euros which included tv and aircon, great value. Also they are in an excellent location, right near the beach and main attractions including the Alhambra. Good breakfast included and WIFI works quite well. Recommended!
