A very home-like place, nice to relax there after walking around Seoul. We felt very comfortable and at home, which was nice because it was snowing.
Had a great stay here, went to BBQ and karaoke pretty much as soon as we arrived in Seoul which was organised by the hostel. Its a fun and friendly place to stay
Really cool, relaxed place to stay. The staff helped us out a lot, showed us round. Also in a perfect location. We really enjoyed Daegu thanks to Danim Backpackers!
Pedro is great! Gwangju wasn't the most exciting town but Pedro will make sure you have a good time. While we were there he took us to see traditional Korea wrestling (Ssireum) and to a more traditional restaurant where we had a feast of amazing food. All in all Pedro made our stay in Gwangju, we would've been quite bored without him!
Our room didn't have a window so got pretty stuffy with the heating on and a heavy security door we couldn't leave open, but apart from this it was a lovely place to stay. Their cat is the cutest friendliest cat ever!
Big, clean, great rooftop, lounge area. However the staff member who checked us in was a bit rude and unwelcoming. But this was balanced by a super nice and friendly staff member who helped us find some good restaurants.
More like a hotel than a hostel, but handy for getting to/from the airport
Very comfy beds and friendly staff, go to the cafe they recommend - some of the best sandwiches we've ever had! Oh and ask about the onsen as well.

Beautiful guesthouse with lovely staff! we had such a nice stay here, we loved the little cabin/bunks you get, they were so comfortable. And the food was amazing! All round Koyasan was a lovely place to stay.
good friendly common room and staff, however the beds were very uncomfortable and the dorm was not a place you wanted to spend much time in. After nearly 3 months backpacking these beds were still some of the worst we've slept on. We heard that the female dorm beds were better though.
J-Hoppers are always good, and this one didn't disappoint. Watch out for the stairs though!
Great guesthouse, like all the j-hoppers! The beds in the female dorm were heavenly and the staff were very friendly and helpful, we had a great time in Takayama!
Poor directions getting there - make sure you have the address in japanese if you're getting a cab or its pretty easy to walk from the station, takes about 20 minutes. Staff were not very friendly, there seemed to be a family staying who took up the whole, very small, common room. And as they didn't allow you to eat in the room this was a little awkward as we felt like we were interrupting a family meal. Glad we only stayed one night, the beds were good and the house itself is pretty cute.
Friendly place, easy to meet people, good staff and good location. Easy to get around from however there's not too much to do in the immediate area.
