location is good - right in the El Carme area of Valencia with nice bars and clubs nearby. hostel has hot showers and they have installed a/c in the 10-bed rooms. they also have an elevator which helps with moving up and down the 4 storey building. About 15 mins walk from the main bus station and 25mins walk from the train station. beds in the 10 - bed rooms are rather close together however which compromises privacy a bit. love that they organise a free walking tour and a pub crawl every day!

Fundalucia

loved my stay at Fundalucia which is a charming guesthouse in the village of Quentar! rooms are clean with bathroom attached, and has a full equipped kitchen complete with food which you can buy from the hostel at affordable prices. excellent for mingling with the other guests with plenty of common areas. being 20 mins away from Granada, it is a great place for a quiet getaway. do note that the 2 supermarkets in the village close on sundays!

location is excellent, only a 10-15 min walk away from Ueno station which connects you to the whole of central Tokyo on the Yamanote line. room is very clean! wifi in the rooms was rather weak, though it is always available in the lobby. staff speak excellent english so no worries for anyone who can't speak japanese. had a very pleasant stay and will come back again!

bathing is only in the onsen, traditional japanese style, so be prepared! careful with the gas heater in the room, instructions and warnings are completely in japanese so remember to ventilate the room while in use or risk carbon monoxide poisoning haha. recommended to visit this place with a car, as toya-ko is quite a distance away and public transport is infrequent. but the room was comfortable, if a little small

location is very good, in the middle of the jewish district and abt 10-15mins walk from the old city. Adam is really friendly and helpful! a good plus is that the hostel can arrange tours to the salt mine and auschwitz that pick you up from the hostel directly. lots of nice places to eat nearby, even late at night! toilets and showers in the 8-bed bunk are tiny but useable. loved my stay here!

lovely hostel! the staff were the friendliest ever, and the bar on the ground floor is wonderful! just 5-10mins walk away from the Duomo and the metro system, which makes getting around very convenient. will definitely stay here again if i return to Milan! perhaps the bathroom could use better soundproofing though, since it is inside the bedroom it can get pretty noisy if people shower in the early hours of the morning

excellent security! electronic lockers in the 8 bed dorm which were more than big enough. the staff were helpful and wonderful, they will organise trips to clubs almost every night. showers are clean and there's a bar on the first floor. walking distance to las ramblas and the port, although a little out of the way of the main areas of the city. nice place to spend your stay in barcelona!

hostel is really near Firenze SMN train station if u are arriving by train, and also only a 5 mins walk from the Duomo. Restaurants near the hostel area seem to be better value than near the main tourist attractions as well. wifi is free, though connection can be a little sketchy. there is no lift, so be prepared to walk up 3 storeys! the hostel owner is a really kind and sweet old man who made our stay very pleasant. it's an excellent hostel to stay in florence!

although the hostel was not in the main city of venice, it's only a 5 min walk to the train station (Venice Mestre) from which it is really convenient to get into Venice by train (costs 1.20 euro oneway) rooms are small but comfortable. it's a hotel, so don't expect a common area to hang out. they charge for wifi. staff are brusque and won't tell u more about venice beyond providing you with a map
