This hostel is fine, nothing particularly bad and it is clean. HOWEVER, they aren't very honest with the facilities they provide. The lockers are not included in the price and you have to pay 2 pounds every 24hrs, but if you access the locker within those 24 hours you have to re-pay. They do NOT have any kitchen facilities, but will provide you with hot water, but you have to ask them to get it for you. Pretty much they charge you for everything possible.
Hostel Lao was amazing! The staff are very helpful and fun. The hostel is located perfectly 10min away from everywhere; the bus station, the main plaza, and lots of food options!
About a ten minute walk from the PLaza de Armas in Cusco but not bad. At night it is really quiet because you are farther away. The staff is super helpful with things to do and places to go.
The woman who runs the hostel is super sweet and friendly! The only thing is if you are allergic or don´t like cats, don´t stay here. She owns 5 right now (They were all sooo cute) but I wanted to warn people since we didnt know that before we came and some people could have issues with the cats.
The staff was super helpful and friendly. We only had one night booked but they let us leave our stuff in the hostel all day while we climbed Machu Picchu and when we returned they let us hang out in the hostel and take showers even though we werent staying another night. The beds were really comfy and the pancakes at 4:30am were AMAZING!
