Lovely staff and great location but rather lacking in atmosphere. The TV is on the whole time in the lounge area, which is great if you want to watch a film or something, but it kills any conversation. Good breakfast.

Friendly helpful staff, new hostel with spacious, comfortable dorms and good location make this a great place to stay. Free beer time makes it easy to meet people too.

Lovely hostel, definitely meriting its 'boutique' label. The only issue is that the 7-bed and 6-bed dorms are right above the terrace bar, so don't bother trying to sleep before 2am. But the atmosphere is very friendly, so who wants to sleep anyway?

A really special hostel in such a beautiful location - but it is 1.5km out of town. Very sociable thanks to the comfy lounge - proper sofas! - and the beautiful dining room with a huge table for 12 or so. The dinners are delicious and a great way to meet people. Also really enjoyed sitting around the bonfire after dinner. Have recommended this hostel to many people en route.

Nice building, once you've got past the building site entrance. Do not buy tours here! They tried to overcharge me 10 soles for the Laguna 69 trip - why, when they were charging other residents 40 soles?? Apparently the guides they use don't bother to accompany the group on the hike either, so book elsewhere! It was low season, but they couldn't be bothered to open the bar for those of us who were there.

Nice hostel in a quiet location in Miraflores. Good to have kitchen facilities for once. Lovely terrace - but the bar wasn't open much, so not the best place for meeting people.

Nice place with a great location, but the traditional layout with 2 open courtyards makes it cold unless you are in your room or the bar. Great atmosphere the first night, with live music then a disco in the bar, but after that the bar was pretty quiet every night, so not as good a place as expected for meeting people.

A good place to stay in La Paz, only 5 minutes from the bus station and 15 minutes safe walk into the centre. The bars in both the hostels are good places to meet other travellers. Appreciated the Christmas dinner - thanks for that!

The owners Jennifer and Nicolas were really friendly and helpful. When I discovered that the pass back to Salta was closed, Nicolas helped me to find an alernative route that I could afford, even taking me to the bus station on his bike to help me get the best ticket. Great crepes too! Merci beaucoup x

Such a fun place to stay in Salta, especially if you want to check out the Balcarce nightlife in good company. The pre-parties in the hostel are fab - everyone is made so welcome by the lovely staff, including people like me who don't fit the usual age profile, but love to party anyway!

Friendly atmosphere and v. helpful staff. The roof terrace is lovely, but why are the rooftop bar and bbq never used? That would make it a much more fun place to stay. A/C or at least a fan in the dorm is essential and should not be charged extra. Only 1 bathroom is not enough.

View Property Reply

Every suggestion from our passengers is taken and really helpful. The rooftop bar is used for big parties, we usually organise them some weekends and there wasn't any party in that week. About the shared bathrooms, we've got two: one next to the internet room and another next to the stairs. Fan isn't charged extra, A/C has an extra charge. Some rooms has fans and others has A/C. Greetings!
