I think the facilities and cleanliness need much improvement.... it's the travellers that make the place, not much more.

Awesome location in the bohemian area of Cusco, with cool little bars, cafes, and restaurants. The great staff will make sure your stay here is not like the run of the mill chain hostels, and all this contributes to the types of people attracted to staying here (cool and interesting people).

high up in the San Blas hills, this place is all character and views and has a very good vibe, largely thanks to Luis the awesome dude who works there. If you want some training for the Salkantay, amazing views, and want to escape the maddening crowds, this place is for you!

Wildrovers hostel, the place where low class lager louts converge to act like they do at home (throw up and sleeze it up)

Felipe, Sasha, Emmi, and Suellen made this hostel the best ive ever been to. So much so that I came back twice more in my travels. If you want a hostel with an awesome location (Lapa is amazing) and great people, this is the place!
