nice and convenient, perfect location at less than a 100 metres from the old city walls
Khaosan kabuki tokyo had the best slipperu of all the hostel I've been to so far in Japan :); good green tea and provided a perfect sake drinking atmosphere. All the rest was good too.

Had a great stay at Seifu-So, it was easy to find, clean, the staff was very friendly and helpfull, and the bikes they provide make it very easy to get around in Matsumoto !
Had a good time, staff were friendly and very helpfull in giving advice on sightsee stuff and good eating places, good hostel
it's as nice as all the other reviewers claim it is ;), dorms are very clean, equipped with pc and tv, bathroom in the room + small public bath/sento outside, and the clerk behind the front desk is super enthousiast about everything, totally recommend it.

Had a nice stay, everything was clean, very quiet, just what I needed after hiking through the hakone pass, the free onsen ticket was a very nice extra and there is a small sento-like bathtub in the ryokan as well. very pleased!
Rooms were way crowded, and the triple bunk beds not very practicle but for the rest everything was ok ! clean enough
At first I wasn't sure to come to this hostel because of the negative comments on hostelworld, but then I saw that the lonely planet guide really recommended it for being very clean and for being nicely located. Well the location is indeed good but nothing else positive can be said about this place.
good clean fun, haha no really, amazing hostel in every way
all good, nice host, location very awesome, well worth the search
Nara Backpackers is just a wonderful place, kinda made me feel at home during the time I spent there. Takeshi-san and Mika-san were amazing and answered everyone of my crazy questions about Japan and the japanese language + were really helpfull giving me advise for the rest of my trip. Other positive things: clean, good location, beatiful old japanese house, everything was perfect. just go there!
Namba is freaking awesome ! and the hostel is great, Masa-san goes out of his way to respond to all your needs and the hostel as a whole has a really laidback vibe going on. Perfect place to stay in Osaka (very convenient by the way cuz it's on walking distance from namba ), to kick back and relax on your vacation in Japan.
