Makako Chill Out Hostel

Way too expensive for what you get. The only good thing is the location. Really hard to use the kitchen because that is also the baggage storage. We decided to book a tour to Playa Blanca to make it easier but that turned out to be a complete waste of money and really chaotic and disorganized. The lady almost didn't give us our ticket and without anything written on it, which made it hard to convince people that we paid for lunch. Highly recommend to stay elsewhere.

Great value for your money. It was really nice to have both large lockers in the room and a shelf area by the bed. Plenty of bathrooms. Friendly atmosphere, was able to meet some cool people. Only wish the desk would have recommendations for things to do or see.

The pink house was a little hard to find without a sign at first, but so easy to spot after. Comfy beds, clean bathrooms and spaces. Only bummer was lack of social atmosphere until New Years eve when they got everybody together and provided some drinks! Thanks!

Bathroom was pretty cramped between stalls, showers, and sinks. Very little privacy. Only one light in room. Staff was nice and helpful, and the breakfast voucher was a nice inclusion.

Location is excellent! I wish they had lockers in the rooms though.

The location is great, because it's on a quiet street but really close to the center. All of the staff is really helpful and welcoming. It also had a very friendly atmosphere, so it was easy to meet new people.

This was a great place to meet people and make new friends from all over the world. The hostel had enough good common areas and activities to help you get to know Madrid. Only bummer was the noise if your room faces the street.
