The dorm room was good.. apart from not being able to open one of the lockers underneath the bed due to the configuration of the bunks. Moved to a private the second night due to no dorm availability.. The bathroom had a mouldy smell but didn't look unclean. I'd stay again because the location is great, the breakfast is good and the smoking room and outdoor area is good for meeting people.

Thank you for leaving a review! We will assess the locker situation in the dorm you stayed in, and we will also check the bathroom in the private room you stayed in. The reception staff were lovely and helped us with out bags up the 1 flight of stairs. We stayed in a private room so I'm not sure if it's a good place of you are wanting to meet people but for our purpose it was great. Only a 10 minute walk from the train station and most sites.

Amazing hostel. Our room had a fridge and balony, and the second room we moved to for the following 2 nights (due to availability) even had a cook top and sink. They even have beach towels and mats to take to the beach.. Which is a 2 minute walk. This hostel was in the best location.. The train station is up 1 straight road (about 15m walk) and the old town about 15m walk also, but its along the beach so it's nice. Very safe area at night opposed to a hostel I stayed near the rail station

I ended up moving hostels as 2 girls in my room left the bathroom looking like a disaster zone each time they used it. The walls looked unclean and only 2 power points in a room for 6 people worked. I also felt unsafe walking alone at night in this area as its the dodgy side of town. Staff were friendly and they have free a champagne night and cheap spaghetti night. I would recommend spending a few extra euros and staying at Meyerbeer beach hostel.. Amazing location right next to the beach
