I have positive experience with Geko hostel. I picked up this hostel as it is next to the beach even though it is about 20 minutes walking from the bus station. I really liked having quite generous breakfast on the beach where you can have also a huge dinner for 19 Rs, book at the reception. Bathroom specious and cleaned every
This is my favorite and the nest hostel in Brazil. From the first moment you feel like home. On the whole I enjoyed staying at this hostel. The location is quite good, the rooms very clean as well as bathrooms and the common area with the kitchen. The breakfast is average (toast, butter, jam and fruit + coffee or tea). Unfortunately I stayed in the hostel during tsunami alert. The evacuation was handled in disorganized manner with insufficient communication. There is a car lot for free for ones with a rent a car which I found handy.
good location just next to the airport and 10 minutes to Maho beach. The only problems are missing lockers (but they are going to add new ones and messy shared kitchen but this is by the great deal caused by the messy room mates.
