Location was great for convenience from Termini station. 5 minute walk. Longer walk to main sites but you have easy access to main metro and buses from Termini, so essentially perfect. Security is great because there are three keys you need to get from lobby to room. Room cozy, and cleaned every day. Cool people. Clean bathrooms. Weird neighborhood next to Termini. Staff is fine. Give you a bottle of wine as welcome gift (mine was oxidized). Would recommend though. Did the job well.
Hayley is awesome; the ultimate host/staff. The location is perfect IF you want to chill out in Tuscany in old style castle/villa/home, ride funky bikes around town, sit back and drink wine and get away from the cities. I ended up staying 4 nights and did day trips to Siena, Florence (x2) and San Gimignano and it was very convenient. NO PICKUP FROM TRAIN :) You have to walk about 20 minutes with your back from station which isn't horrible, as long as you can find it! Awesome! Definite Recommend
Perfect location if you don't want to be directly in the 5 towns of Cinque Terra. Great value for money. Very affordable! Staff is really helpful and friendly. Annoying you have to vacate in early afternoon for cleaning but you are most likely out anyway so no real problem. Shuttles from train station and to pick you up from Cinque Terra towns. Bus directly across street to train stations. I would go back. Rooms were comfy. Bathrooms/showers tiny.
Nothing special. 20 minute bus/tram from train station. Bedrooms were simple, bathrooms kind of funky. Only there for one night and barely in the hostel so can't give more information than that.
On the island directly across from San Marco. Have to buy vaporetto pass but that's only outside expense. Lobby with bar is really clean and cool. Breakfast is awesome and worth the 3.5 euros. Staff is helpful when they are in a good mood. Bathrooms and bedrooms are awesome. They give you a duvet! Takes a while to get there from airport and main train station, but still worth the trek. I'd go back.
Vivian and her mother were the best hostesses. Always around to answer all your questions. My one complaint to them was that it was difficult to get from the ferry to the hostel based on the information on hostelworld, but they were very responsive and updated it right away. Keep that in mind, you need to walk 30 min to bus station from ferry to get bus to hostel. Facilities were for basic reqs. Off the beaten path. Quiet but very comfortable and low key. I'd go back just for Vivian and mom.
I didn't end up staying here...I stayed at Margarita Hotel because there was an issue at the bathroom in Anemomilos Villa. Margarita was just up the block from Anemomilos in Firastefani, about 15 minute walk north of Fira or 1 stop on the bus to Oia from Fira. I will review that the staff at Anemomilos were very helpful and considerate when trying to pick me up from the port or the bus station, otherwise it is difficult to find on one's own. They even dropped me off at the port.
Very comfortable place. Staff super helpful. Located directly in Perissa Beach, about 20 minutes by bus from Fira. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Towels provided. Access to clean pool and bar inside hostel. 2 minute walk to beach and tons of restaurants. I would stay again.
It is what it is. Don't expect much from this hostel. I foolishly paid a premium to stay in my own space and for twice the price I got a box with the same bed everyone else got and my own fan. That's it. But it is cheap, it has wifi that does work but you have to pay for (just buy a drink at the bar). Transport provided from port which is good and bus schedule gives access to town. Close to Paradise Beach and Cavo and right on Paraga Beach. Only good things about the place.
A hidden gem in what is already a beautiful city. Nafplio is not a huge place but it did take a little wandering to find the hostel, my only complaint. The room was one of the best I've ever stayed in at such an affordable price on my travels. My own double bed with a hot shower. The two ladies who work in constant rotation were super friendly and helpful, providing me recommendations of places to eat and go out and what time things are open and close. A must stay for singles or couples!
Nothing bad to say about this place. The highlight is the staff who is always friendly and helpful around the clock. Breakfast is small but to get additional things is cheap. Happy Hour is great and sports bar food and scene are awesome. Rooms are exactly what you need. Bathrooms clean. Location is in the heart of Acropoli, directly below the Parthenon. One of my favorite hostels!
Name says it all! Not a party hostel but good gathering of people can be found. Located in Once so near main areas. Twenty minute walk to Palermo and 5 minute walk to subways. Beds comfy and showers are excellent. Wifi available excellent. Cold at time in main foyer during the winter and can rain inside. Great living area with access to computers. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Couldn't really praise this hostel any higher than 100%. The highlight from this hostel is by far the staff who are extremely attentive and helpful. They were able to recommend things to do that were both fun and affordable. Very light breakfast but you have access to the kitchen at all times to make your own food, just make sure to label it in the fridge. Easy access to downtown. No outlets in bedroom annoying but harmless. WIFI great. Hot showers. Computer on site.
Great location in small town of Puerto Iguazu on Argentinian side. One minute walk to bus station. Near bars and restaurants. Good breakfast and good outdoor area. Staff helpful and speaks english and spanish.
Cozy stay right in quaint neighborhood of Palermo. 6 block walk to two different subway stops and main road Santa Fe. Good WIFI, good showers, comfy beds, lockers available. They provide sheets and towels. TV for viewing in main lounge area. Annoying if it rains because there is open space within the hostel that just gets wet. I would imagine that it is great if the sun is out. Great for price! Breakfast is nothing special but definitely edible. I would go back.
What´s not to like about this place! Extremely chill vibe, some of the best staff I´ve met in travelling South America. WIFI everywhere. Great breakfast available. Stayed in shared coed dorm. Plenty of space, comfy bed, private lockers. Hot show with pressure. Outdoor patio space. 5 minute walk to Independencia subway. Awesome accomodation from airport with MTL for about AR$85. Location is quiet and dodgy at times but not a hug concern, just trek north. Good food in area.
The location is great for the price as it is right between Old Quito and Mariscal Sucre (New Quito). One block away from local bus stop that runs north and south and can easily be gotten to from the main bus terminal, though very far away. Airport is far but that goes for every hostel in Quito. Rooftop private ensuite was cute but bed very uncomfortable and difficult to get WIFI from the room. WIFI excellent everywhere else. Good hot water. Great for price!
I was very surprised by the quality of the hostel as I didn´t know what to anticipate prior to arrival. Stayed in both a matrimonial private ensuite and a shares 7 bedroom dorm. Both were clean and comfortable. Beds very comfy and access to wifi excellent in rooms. Good breakfast variety in morning. Excellent security. A little bit outside of center downtown, but I hear Guayaquil isn´t much to see anyways. Mall and restaurants close by.
