We've stayed in a lot of Chinese hostels and this one has the friendliest staff of all. They were extremely welcoming and helpful during our stay. Location is great , right in front of a metro stop and close to the center of the city. We had a private room, basic but good for the price. Our room had a guide book which was very helpful. Would stay here again.
We had a nice private room. The owner, Tiger, is really nice and helpful. Rest of the staff was great too. The hostel is beautiful with a lot of nice artwork. Nice view of the ocean. The hostel is located outside of the city center but only about a 20-30 minute bus ride away. Bus stop is not too far away. The area where the hostel is located is underdeveloped but that's probably because we were there in low season. And it's not too far from Laoshan, which is definitely worth a visit.
Good location about 10 minute walk to West Lake. Staff were very helpful. Room was small but clean and nice. Hangzhou is a great city. Only problem with the hotel is the wifi didn't work very well. But our room had a computer.
Very convenient location right by the Leqiao metro station. Big room and nice bed. Staff had limited English and not very helpful. They wouldn't call a taxi for us when I asked the night before. This hotel is not terrible but we wouldn't stay here again.
Great location close to metro and 10 minute walk to the river/bund area. Staff was really nice. We had a private room which was pretty pricey but worth it for the location. Private room was simple but nice.
Our private room was small but nice. Had a nice tv in the room. Restaurant/bar has a pretty good environment, food's pretty expensive as usual in hostels. The staff at the front desk were just not as accommodating as I've come to expect at Chinese hostels. They were nice enough but not very welcoming. Also, their directions to the airport were a bit misleading (we went west station first instead of west inn) so make sure you get it straight before you leave. But overall, a good place.
Rooms are very spacious and very clean. We had a nice little balcony. Location was a good bit outside of the old town so if you wanna get away from the night life it's a good spot. But you will have to walk awhile to get to good restaurants and shops. Don't confuse this place with a hostel. Not much of a common area for guests so it's a different environment than most hostels. Good place for families. The staff was alright but not very helpful when we asked for directions to nearby villages.
Our private room was spacious and very comfortable. The family dinners are great. Really good food, as much as you can eat for 20 yuan per person. You won't find a better meal in Lijiang for that price. Some of the staff may seem rude at first but give them a chance, they'll warm up to you a bit. Mama Naxi is very nice. The family environment at the hostel is a nice experience.
Great place! Staff are extremely nice with great English. They were never bothered by our questions and were always helpful. The free map they give you is awesome. The tours were reasonably priced. Great environment. Nothing bad to say about Sims.
Hostel staff is really nice and has very good English. Close to the train station so you don't even need a cab. The bamboo raft tour to Yangshuo is a bit misleading (the starting point and ending point were different than I thought) and they try to sell more tour add-ons once you're on the bus. But you get a really good view of the Li River and the mountains. Overall a great place.
