Basic accommodation in a good location. I only needed to stay to get to Heathrow in the morning and the tube is close by making that an easy transfer. Nothing special about the hostel though - very basic but clean enough.
Hi guest, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! We're glad you enjoyed our location and found our hostel clean All the best, YHA London Earl's Court

Not my first time here and won't be my last. Such a beautiful location and such a homey, comfortable hostel.

Luckily I was only here to sleep on a short layover. The guy at the desk was nice but this is literally an apartment with a bunch of bunk beds stuffed into tiny rooms. I almost didn't sleep the place was so hot, and that was mid October...I can't even imagine what summer is like here!

Simple hostel lacking a lot of atmosphere. Strange combination of decor and guests. Big, free breakfast and in the trendier, hipper part of town, away from the tourists. Good value for money.

One of the better hostels! Nice, bright interior common space. Pool on the roof is great. Beds are so comfortable. Staff and general atmosphere is very social and friendly, everyone was always having fun! I have two criticisms: The top bunk beds are very high and have no bars, one of them was in the middle of the room so both sides were unprotected and could easily have been rolled out of. the bathroom didn't have counter top space, my glass container fell off and broke, could easily be fixed!
thanks for your tip! we will improve this small details to get your 10/10 next time! looking fw to have you back!

Very wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. Nice location, central but quiet. Free, big lockers. Good, cozy common space. My only complaint is that the beds are very uncomfortable :( if not for that this hostel would be perfect!

Good hostel. Central location. Friendly staff. Nice roof terrace and chill space inside. Rooms were big and clean. It is a big hostel so not super personal but other than that it's recommended!

Really excellent location right in old town! Lots of social activities but also lots of pressure to participate. Kind of shunned if you didn't. Really bad bunkbeds that shook all night long when anyone turned over. Bathrooms could be kept cleaner.

Pros: Very clean and really central location Cons: I was put into the 'new' building which meant separate with no common space. It had a private bathroom and was big so the room wasn't bad but no atmosphere. Also the curtains covering the beds covered both the top and bottom bunk and the woman with the back tattoos checked someone in late afternoon when I was taking a nap and ripped open my curtains despite two other beds being available. It was rude and unpleasant.

Unfortunately had to cancel due to emergency return to my home country. Tried to contact hotel and could not get in touch at first, when I finally did they were uninterested in helping me with any amount of refund and charged me 100% of my stay. Adding insult to injury on a cancelled holiday.

Nice location, though best to find the city lift or you'll be walking up a whole lot of stairs. Nice balcony, good kitchen. Facilities were fine, free breakfast was as you'd expect. Beds were very uncomfortable and creaky. My room was right under the street so pretty loud through the night. But the real problem here was the staff, they were entirely uninterested and honestly annoyed at you being there much less asking them any questions.

Maybe the most expensive hostel I've ever stayed at and it felt like all I was paying for was the rules. Lots of rules. Staff pretty uninterested. Mattresses pretty terrible. Location was pretty good, but unfortunately that's all you get in such an expensive place!!

Very weird place. We had no idea who the staff were and there was hardly ever anyone at reception. Apparently with our booking we got free breakfast however the guy who checked us in didn't tell us and it wasn't until I overheard another guest being checked in and asked that we got our free breakfast (on our last morning). The bed was possibly the least comfortable of our entire time in Thailand and Malaysia. Room was dark, lighting was very bad. Location redeemed something.

Great location, walkable to everywhere. Staff very helpful and friendly. Building nice, only two bathrooms but they explained that's because it's a heritage building. Our room was fairly small and was full of mosquitoes. The hostel recommended a bike rental which wasn't great I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

K's house is an awesome chain with lovely common spaces and friendly staff, this branch does not fall short of expectations! The only thing I would LOVE to see added to all branches is privacy curtains on the beds, something which most other hostels in Japan have. Thanks for a great stay!
Thank you for the excellent review!! We will keep up as great work as we could and are considering taking your advice of improvement in our hostel.

Such a cozy hostel. Ticks all the boxes and in a good location. Hiro, who runs the place is extremely lovely and helpful. He keeps the fires going all evening so no matter how cold it is outside the common space is toasty warm! Just don't forget to bring waterproof shoes!!

Our last day here was my friends birthday, I asked the staff if they had a candle I could use, they didn't. So, when they finished their shift (10pm) they went out and bought one so we could sing happy birthday at midnight! This is the same for everything here, warm, welcoming, comfortable and lovely. Highly recommend!!

Great location with views of Mt. Fuji and the lake just out the door. Excellent, helpful staff. Good, well supplied kitchen, nice, clean couch area and common space. Amazing Japanese heated table! Room and toilets were clean and functioning, simple, no complaints. Cheap bike rentals are a great bonus! Less than half the price of everywhere else in town!

Very clean rooms with ensuite toilet and shower. Big useable kitchen and nice bar space. Location is a bit out of the way, a very quiet area. When we asked for information at the information desk all she did was a Google search same as we could have done on our own, so we were mostly left to our own devices to figure out what to do in the city. Not bad but I'm sure there're better hostels in Tokyo!

Amazing staff. Basic, clean rooms, bathrooms and common space. Simple free breakfast. Good location close to china town and night markets. A bit confusing finding it at first from the train station.

Do not book this hostel. I looked back at the reviews to figure out how this place had good ones and realized that all the positive reviews are in fact for an entirely DIFFERENT hostel. The staff are rude, I was told off for sitting in a common space with the lights on in the evening. The beds are rock hard, you may as well sleep on the floor. The kitchen didn't have a single cutting knife. There is actually a sign suggesting you go to an Onsen to bathe because there are only two showers.

Nice owner, common spaces and room were fine but bathrooms were very dirty. Most people are long term and working so the place doesn't have lots of energy. Over all ok.
Thank you for your review and compliment. Bathrooms were not cleaned as normal then but this has been rectified. Also I have supplied some energy drinks for our existing tenants.

Really nice rooms with privacy curtains and personal lights. Nice showers. Down a cute, quiet street. Easy walk to train. Helpful staff. Not great common space. There is a restaurant but since you just sit at your own table its not a good way to meet people.

Mr. Peace makes this place. He's a great laugh. The atmosphere is amazing thanks to him and you'll meet everyone and probably eat and go out with them-easy friends. My ONLY complaint is that the address on hostelworld is different than the actual location and because I don't travel with any electronic device I didn't get their email warning me of this and had trouble finding the place at first (so in reality this won't be a problem for 99.9% of travels who do travel with wifi devices!!)

Only stayed one night. Rooms are clean and breakfast is good. More like a hotel with dorm rooms than a true hostel, there is not really a common space. Location is decent, in old quarter mostly walkable to anywhere.

Stayed one night. Everything was fine, decent breakfast. The city is just big and dirty so it's hard to have a great experience but I think that's more the fault of the city than the hostel.

Cute common space which is nice to meet people in. There are renovations on some of the rooms which is good because ours was not great. The beds were VERY shaky and the room was absolutely sweltering. My friend also woke up with a number of mysterious bites. I had a very negative experience with one of the staff members who did not understand how hostelworld worked and did not know that I had already paid a deposit. Sadly she handled the situation very unprofessionally and was quite rude to me.

Good little hostel in Singapore. Amazing staff! The rooftop could use some love and it would really add character to the place, it'd be a lovely place to meet people as it is there not a lot of opportunity for that. Close to a good food spot and a ten minutes walk to two subway stops which are easy to use during the day and taxis are always available at night.

Really nice hostel with a pool and rooftop bar. Good atmosphere and a short walk to pub street. Rented bikes to do Angkor wat and the bikes weren't the best. Also the staff weren't the best, one of them booked us on the wrong bus and the other wouldn't take a $5 note that looked too old. Just little things, all in all a good hostel.

Facilities were fine at this hostel location was a bit away from everything. The restaurant was very overpriced and the hostel staff tried to change my money for a horrendously low rate.

The best thing about the hostel is its very central location. I also booked into a 32 bed dorm and had a 14 bed dorm which is nice, Unfortunately some other things were lacking. There are not a few toilets available for people in the dorm rooms and often you have to go hunting for an available one. The showers are the push button type and you can't control the temperature, so they never actually get hot. Some of the staff were extremely friendly while others were not so much...

This is one of the better hostels out there! It is still new and there is work to be done but someone is putting a lot of thought into the place and it shows! Free linens, a rarity in Iceland, plus free robe and towel! The beds are comfy, the duvets are fluffy, the rooms are spacious and the bathrooms clean. I know they are planning to work on the common space but that is the only thing that is lacking right now, so once it is done it'll be a great place! Excellent location too!

Great hostel right in downtown Kilkenny. Lovely building and great staff. The clientele are nearly all partiers so if you are looking for a decent nights sleep (i.e. not being woken up at 4 am by singing Irish girls) on a Saturday night, you probably won't get it here.

This hostel is a few minutes walk from all the things you need to see in Dublin. The staff are friendly and security is very good. The common space is lacking though and while I was there it was being used mostly by students so they were staying long term and were not very interested in normal 'hostel socializing' so that was disappointing but otherwise a good Dublin hostel.

This hostel is more like a hotel. Rooms are clean. The worst part though is that with just one key for the entire room if someone is out late they have to bang on the door until they wake someone up!! Not fun when you're that person at 3 am being woken up!!
Hi Caitlyn, Thanks for your feedback. We're very much a hostel, but funny enough we are located in an old bank. This adds character we think :) As for the keys, we have 24h reception who are happy to help out should there be any issues with the keys. Thanks and hope to see you next time! This is the third hostel I've stayed at in Dublin and by far the best. Great central location right in temple bar. Nice commone space and spacious clean ensuite rooms. Would definitely recommend!

This was the most bizarre hostel experience I have had. I got booked into a dorm that didn't have assigned beds so I put my stuff on a bed to claim it. Later that evening when I went to go to sleep there was someone not only in the bed I had put my stuff on but in every other bed as well. I got moved into another room but without any apology or explanation and was also told I may have to check out and move rooms again in the morning. Not cool. Otherwise there is little character to the hostel.

Very clean hostel. Free lockers are great. Bar area and general common space is really nice with a great vibe during happy hour and on every evening. Nice outdoor courtyard. Good location only about 15 minute walk to most places you'd want to see. There are only a limited number of showers and toilets but generally you didn't have to wait more then a few minutes to get in.

The staff were great and common space was 24 hours which were the only two good things. There were no lockers in the room. Only expensive ones in the basement. The kitchen had only four hobs that worked which meant a long line to cook at dinner time. The showers are push faucets which turn off after about 30 seconds and there are only three per floor and they all drain into one shower, so you will have dirty water running over your feet. The hostel was hot and smelly in the rooms.

The hostel is in a great area and very clean and in a nice building. Great value for cheap rooms. Lots of bathroom and showering facilities, never any lines. Free lockers but you need your own lock. There is a lovely rooftop and pool which is great to hang out in, unfortunately that closes at midnight, even on weekends, strange for a 'party hostel.' A huge drawback for me was that there was no age limit. This meant that there were families with young children and elderly folks!
