Plus: It's a good location and cheap. Minus: The rooms are tiny, with no room to put bags. There is only one outlet for four people. The staff will wake you up at 8am to 'clean' the room and shower/bathroom. There is no real common area to relax or meet people. The first night we got there the man working the front desk was kind and relaxed. Every other stuff member we came in contract with was rude and not welcoming. I've stayed a lot of hostels around the world and this is the worst.

Greenpoint Lodge

New York, USA

Greenpoint Lodge is a great value. We came to NYC as tourist for the week and we're glad we stayed at this place. The owner is friendly and very willing to help with anything. The house is not the newest, but its clean. The location is convenient. It's not in Manhattan, so it's peaceful. My only suggestion is to have some NYC maps in the house. Great stay ~~ I recommend it!
