Cambie Hostel - Gastown

Vancouver, Canada

The only two good things about this hostel is the central location, and the fact that there is a bar downstairs. Other than that, it is pretty mediocre. Not easy to meet people and socialize, and the place is generally old and dingey. But as stated, in a suprb location to downtown with bars and restaurants nearby.

Very good location, facilities really good-kitchen has everything u need. Free breakfast (pancakes, cereal and coffee-coffee all day), and staff are helpful and friendly. It is a newish hostel and has alot to offer. Would definetely go back here again.

I have stayed in alot of hostels in the world, and would classify this as a pretty good one. All facilities provided (net, good bathrooms, common room, gigantic kitchen, free breakfast, etc). Reasonably close to downtown so easy to walk everywhere. Good for meeting people.

Pretty good hostel. Beds are large and comforatable. Wifi not excellent, but still provided. Breakfast is a muffin and a tea/coffee, which is not that great really, but free nonetheless. Showers and bathroom pretty clean and decent. Laundry not too expensive (wash and dry for $3.50). Excellent location to city, cafes and restaurants. Kitchen is pretty small, but provides basic facilities to get by.

Very basic hostel. If u r after a bed and that is all, definetely good for that. Not much else going for it really. Internet is good, be aware that there is an additional 4 euro cost for sheets that are not in the original price. Close to metro station, and is in quiet part of town.

Athens Easy Access

The location is quite close to the city centre and train station, but it is just in a poor and unsafe area. Wifi works alright upstairs, not great. Breakfast is bread (thats about 2 weeks old), jam and coffee and juice. Very quiet. Besides that, helpful staff, clean, air con in rooms.

You get what you pay for, so in other words this is very cheap and provides you with the basics (bed, shower, wifi).the hostel is nice, facilities adequate and location fantastic. Can get breakfast if desired (about 20DRM for bread, jam, cheese), alternatively u can get the same stuff from the restaurants in the square (this is where they get it from). Wifi not great, bit unreliable. No complaints, as mentioned it is the right price when on a budget. Slept on terrace outside, was good experience.

This hostel is a good hostel. Not really any negatives. The breakfast is simple yet adequate (bread, jam, coffee tea, tomatoes and sweet breads). The terrace is a great place to chill out after getting lost in the medina. The lounge area downstairs encourages travellers to meet each other. All in all had a great stay. The day tour they organised for us was well worth it.

Hostel has great facilities, and is in a good location. Beds are comy and rooms are clean. Breakfast is basic but its free so its definetely great! Kitchen excellent. The only negative is that it did not have the greatest atmosphere for meeting people, maybe due to their non drinking policy. Other than that its a good hostel for the price.

Hostel Razio City Center

The hostel was not that good for the amount of money that you had to pay per night. The kitchen facilities that were advertised were inadequate. A kettle and a microwave does not count as kichen facilities. And the fact that there you can not use their pots and pans, limiting you to cups and plates only is not sufficient. Also, if the dryer doesnt work, they should not charge the full amount as requested. The location is excellent, and basically that is all you are paying for. No other positives

This hostel was very good value for the money. It is located only a 5 minute walk from the tube so london is basically next door. Best parts are the breakfast, bar and internet. Showers were reasonable, and warm-you just have to go to the right floor to get a good shower. Other than that, this hostel is good for meeting new people. This is a hostel, and not a hotel. You get what you pay for-for me it was an awesome hostel and I would go back again.

Youth Hostel Van Gogh (Chab)

Overall we had a good stay at this hostel and would most likely return if in Brussels. However the most inconvenient thing is that u have to check out every day from 10am to 2pm which was just inconvenient...admittedely it made sure u were out of bed early and u could actually get a lot I sight seeing in. The bar is great, and the staff know what beers to recommend to you. Breakfast was also good, simple but enough. Free wifi was decent, but if u don't have a laptop u need to pay.

Grandio Party Hostel

This hostel is exactly as the name sounds. Partying is all they do, non stop. We had a good few nights here. It is located quite close to the main area of the city, with everything within walking distance. It was cold when we were there, so the outside bar didnt open, but besides that it was awesome. The only down side is that the internet kept dropping out, but if u go to this hostel, it is to party so u dont need it anyway!!

Hostel Indigo

Hostel was a good place to stay and situated right in the centre of old town. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only negative thing I can say about is the lack of additional facilities. However Internet is great. All in all, the hostel provides a great place to stop in sibenik.
