We actually stayed in the sister hostel, little Hanoi hostel le thai to, as this one was booked out. We really enjoyed our stay there, the staff were really lovely and helpful, in particular the woman who worked during the day, she organised our tours to ha long bay and to sa pa with very little fuss, and they were both great, in particular the tour to sa pa. breakfast was okay, but the free tea and coffee and fruit by far made up for it. Great location next to the lake.

By far one of the best hostels I've stayed in, absolutely loved it. It was bright, clean and spacious, with a great communal area, the staff were always there to help and took us all out every night, there's nowhere else I'd stay in Barcelona!
Had to lay 3€ for linen, but no doona covers were given, woke up with bites all over my arms. Only two showers for the whole hostel and only two othe toilets, so there were always massive queues to use the bathrooms. Had free tea and coffee but no cups or mugs were provided unless you knocked on the 'private - do not disturb' door and asked. Had to pay 5€ to leave baggage there during the day, even though they just kept them under the stairs - no lockers avalable.
