WE Bangkok

Bangkok, Thailand

I think having someone there to cook breakfast and to offer better options would be a great addition to your hostel. It seemed to inconvenience the staff every time I asked for breakfast to be made. Also, the quality was subpar in relation to the excellent atmosphere the hostel has to offer. It goes a long way to start someone's day off right with a well balanced and delicious breakfast. No one wants rehydrated powdered eggs either. Also, no server for the rooftop bar? Open on weekends?

Han Tang Inn Hostel

Xi'an, China

PRO: Great location. Great drinks and food. Not too expensive. Quiet at night. Lots of activities going on in the hostel. They also provide tours. Cool rooftop. CON: The bed is a rock. The pillow is meant for back sleepers. I had trouble sleeping. They should make the beds more suitable since the clientele is mostly foreigners.

North Borneo Cabin

25+ or traveling as a couple/family, don't bother. Good location. Next to restaurants, bars, mall, and the marina. Every Sunday they have an open market on Jalan Gaya. Helpful staff. Toast and Coffee. BUT this is definitely a youth hostel. Shared bathrooms that are run down. Shower is filthy. Nothing is provided. Good luck sleeping at night. The walls are made of paper. No respect from other guests. Cars and alarms all night. Our private room looked and felt like a prison cell.

Good party hostel. Very close to bars, clubs, and restaurants. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and affordable. There is a kitchen to keep your food and beer cold. If you like to drink, come here!
