Great private apartments. Vanni (the owner) was extremely helpful and rushed back to help us when the key broke in the door! A little out of the main stretch but very well serviced by trams and found it very easy to get around. Would highly recommend Vanni's Haus to any couple travellers!

Maverick Hostel & Ensuites

When we booked a double room, we expected a small basic room with a bed and simple ensuite. Instead we got our own entire apartment with a kitchen, bathroom/laundry, TV room, dining room and bedroom!! Incredible value, and right in the centre of Pest. There was also very fast and reliable WiFi, Cable TV, a washer/dryer and a fully equipped kitchen. I without a doubt suggest this is your first choice for accommodation in Budapest. Thanks soo much to the wonderful staff for our Christmas stay!

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in, even decided to come back again! Great central location, wonderful staff and probably the best hostel bar you'll ever drink at. Highly recommended

Plug-Inn Boutique Hostel

In good location, with excellent staff, decent breakfast and top cleanliness. Unfortunately botique also means petite. The rooms are tiny and cramped, with bathrooms like a shoebox and had to use the toilet with the door open as I couldn't physically fit my legs in (and I'm not that tall). Also whilst you have free wifi, it is slow and you have to pay to for faster connection (frustrating if you are trying to call home!)

Geneva Hostel

The cheapest accommodation in Geneva (however still more expensive than many other hostels). Breakfast wasn't included either. Location is good and not long walk to centre of tour, clean rooms, comfortable beds and your own locker. Quite a few school groups were staying there though, so had more of 'school camp' atmosphere than a hostel (and kids were playing and making noise on the stairwell most nights until 11pm!) Anyway was overall pretty good, would stay there again.

Very much a party door, with a popular bar downstaris. Right in red light district and short walking distance to many of the major attractions

Had an absolutely excellent stay. Zsuzsi was a brilliant host and made us feel more than just guests, but friends. Even invited all guests up for a meal and some excellent local wine and palinka. Thanks Zsuzsi and enjoy the wine! Apartments are funky and functional, with the hostel located within walking distance of everything. Highly recommend this hostel to travelling couples and helped make Budapest the highlight of our trip!

Nice clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. Staff were very helpful, especially when we encountered issues with our phones and bank cards. Place was reasonably chilled and was great place to wind down mid-trip. Only advice for new travellers staying here: If you are arriving via train, please not that this hostel is a bit more of a walk than it seems on the map! BUT it is still close to the trams and buses, so easy to get around Vienna.
