Super clean and the beds were comfortable after spending a week on a couch. The staff is very helpful and obviously love their lives and jobs. The breakfast is pretty sad, consisting of toast or cereal, but it does the job. The atmosphere is fun but there is not really a central place to hangout. Very convenient location.

This was a bizarre hostel experience. The hostel itself is beautiful and the facilities are all very good. Everything is clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and filling, and the experience would otherwise be five stars, if it wasn't for the pounding techno music that started at 5pm and did not stop until midnight. I'm all for fun party experiences at hostels, but there was no booze and getting blasted with a fog machine wasn't fun.

I slept a total of 5 hours over my 2 nights there. Cold as hell but otherwise a passable hostel.

No question the best hostel I've visited. Joao and Mama kick ass. This hostel has the rare combination of a good social atmosphere without sacrificing a peaceful place to sleep since the dorms and the bar are on separate floors of the building. The dinners are fantastic and the beer flows generously. The TV lounge is comfortable and the beds are very comfortable with outlets, LED lights, and big lockable drawers for your stuff. Stay here.

Very clean, with a pleasant pool. The location is alright but very accessible by tuktuk, and there is always one available. The breakfast is simple but tasty, and the internet is plenty good. Definitely recommended.
