Highly recommended. Great location, very clean and safe. Only negative is that advertised as 5 beds when in fact 3 beds and a double sofa bed in the living room.

Nice and clean with friendly staff. However dorm rooms are very small for amount of people in them.

Only stayed for one night and our private double room was a 4 bunk dorm! Despite this a very friendly place to stay.
Only there for one night but was perfect for us. Friendly, helpful staff and couldn't be in a better location.
One of the best hostels we stayed in. Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Coudn't be in a better area. Highly recommended for anyone going to Buenos Aires.
A well run friendly hostel, minutes from the airport, centre and bus stop to waterfalls. We only stayed one night but would highly recommend it. It's very quirky through out in the style of a favela, it has a great bar and surroundings and it is a fantastic place to chill out.
What excellent value for money!! At just double the cost of a dorm bed in Manaus, included was transport there which involved a car, a 4x4 and 2 boats, all food which was the best we've had in a long time, and most of all 2 full days of activities. We only booked one night but managed to fit in piranha fishing, jungle trekking, aligator watching and swimming with pink dolphins (which was a bitt extra but worth it), And a visit to a native jungle village. For one night, brilliant.
Ran by a rude, arrogant Aussie, who's staff take it after him. Ranging from useless to rude often both (except one girl to be fair). A very strange atmosphere, in our opinion down to the fact that so many people live there, including families with small children! A nice courtyard out the back, which s great if you want to be kept awake all night by staff who 'work' in the tour office but really sit around staring at you. Could not wait to leave and wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.
One of the best hostels we've stayed in in S. America. Friendly, helpful, multi-lingual staff. Great area next to lots of bars/restraunts and metro station. Excellent character, funky new colours throughout. Huge TV with all channels. An outside terrace to meet people. All rooms electronically secure. It even has speakers in the bathroom!! Couldn't recommend it more
Just a short walk from the harbour, the staff are extremely welcoming and really make you feel at home. Excellent value for money especially compared to other places on the island. Highly recommend. Only negative is the cold showers but we saw them as refreshing in the heat!
Helpful friendly staff but in soul less area, cococabana. Again advertises bar but has none. Although a place to sit on the terrace. Breakfast is bread.
Very clean with helpful multi-lingual staff. Very close to copacabana but in our opinion this is not a good thing. Other areas of rio not so soul less. Lacks any socialises and has NO bar despite claiming it does. If a fridge with a beer in is a bar then I have lived in one all my life!!! A shame as everything else very good. We recommend che logaro in ipanema.
