Stayed in the smaller dorms. Everyone from all other hostels comes here for facilities. Only place to come. Only thing is location wise theres nothing around it so you'll be buying everything from the hostel
Loved it, couldn't ask for more. Really efficiently run hostel. All the 'extras' that you want as a backpacker are included. Lots of activities.
Good, cheap, central hostel. Not bad, not great. Most importantly would stay again.
Not your typical hostel, and not just because its a Jail. A lot of older people, families, babies etc. However theres not a lot of accomodation in CC so this is to be expected everywhere. A 10 minute walk into the centre but with whats open in the centre not a bad location. Staff were great and its definately unique.
Excellent location, split over 7 floors so a bit different. Good facilities, everything just seems a little cramped.
Really nice setup, lots of dorms surrounding a central park/pool area. Very chilled during the day. Good location.
Fairly good hostel.
Nicest hostel I stayed at OZ, like one big apartment. Only let down is location but the regular shuttle ensures this is not a problem.
Stayed in one of the apartments, pretty cool setup just hit or miss on your flatmates. Security fairly lax. At night they do have a porter checking names. Opposite Cheeky Monkeys for nightlife 10 minute walk to the beach.
Great hostel, so many activities for free or next to nothing. It's a bit of a walk everywhere here but that can't be helped free buses throughout the day aid this though. Really good, big kitchen.
Stereotypical BASE but def one of the nicer ones. Great location in St. Kilda itself. Short-ish tram ride into the City but easy to do. Great atmosphere. Got lucky with my timing at St Kilda festival.
Good hostel, great staff. Near the beach but a real hike (20 minutes-ish) to get to the main nightlife on the strip. If this doesn't bother you def recommend.
Good location. Private pods are nice to recover from a Bangkok hangover but makes for a poor atmosphere
