No HOT water...I tried about three different times throughout the day for hot water and there was none. The staff was very helpful when you first arrived they highlighted stuff on the map...close to metro stop, about 30 min to downtown...okey for the price if your just going to sleep, not an easy place to meet people...only microwave for "kitchen", would not recommend because there is no hot water...good wifi

This hostel is not worth the extra cost. Use it's clean and the staff is more than friendly. But the room we had was nothing special. Compared to your average Indian accomidation, beds are in same condition. A/C didn't work. The bathroom was a small balcony turned into a toilet and sink that wasn't connected to anything, so when you washed your hands your feet would be splashed. If your on a budget, go somewhere else.

Clean and friendly hostel. Helpful staff gives detailed map of town and highlights to see. No breakfast but loads of places close by to eat at. Good location just at the edge of the centre, everything in McLeod Ganj is walking distance. Only complaint was that wifi had low connection, but all of McLeod Ganj seemed to have this problem. One of the worst hostels I've stayed in...showers and toilets are very dirty and out of order half the time...no free wifi (I would suggest to go to the Starbucks that's a 2 min walk for free wifi, it's cheaper than the hostel charges) no free breakfast but large kitchen with not enough pots, mugs or bowls...it's close to a tube stop but far far from anything but Oxford street I would not recommend this hostel to anyone, even if your looking to save money

sorry you didn't enjoy your stay but the street parties were a once off event for the Volvo ocean race and will not be happening again.i am aware this was inconvenient for some guests but for most it was an enjoyable experience and with regards people walking those were all guests who were staying and kept going out to enjoy the festival. our showers are standard size I will install hooks for cloths thanks for that feedback and our toilets do flush. sorry again.
