Great place. met some nice people. mostly long termers in this place, ut if you sit down and say hello they are really friendly. being outside the city is pretty good, but i suppose that;s personal preference. about a 20min walk to the city. could maybe do with more bathrooms but its not bad. cool chillout area too
good place. friendly people. no issues except for the stupid christmas pageant at 6am in the morning in the street - who's idea was that! bloody adelaide... it was november.
Auckland is an odd place. It seems to be mostly people living in hostels while they work. I got put in a room with two old men in their 60s and one had household things with him (kettle, toaster, other weird stuff). They snored all night. It sucked. I asked to change rooms the second night and was told no. The toilets were a bit average, but usable. Ended up moving the second night to the one up on K Road which had a better atmosphere and was a bit smaller. Would not recommend for a solo person
Great location. Very easy to get to / from both airports. Seemed a bit hit and miss with atmosphere, but overall was good.
very well located, very friendly host. the only annoying thing is there are a lot of doors... but thats not really a problem. stayed in the dorm and they even had curtains
very convenient location, met some good people, staff had good recommendations. nothing wrong really. you can get a direct train to nara from the same station too
Big fan of this hostel. From the friendly staff to the friendly people you can meet. One disappointing thing is the basement bar has expensive drinks... they should make it cheaper so people want to come down and mingle. Of course you can just drink in the upstairs kitchen but...
was a last minute booking so i took what I could. has everything you need I suppose, but the beds in the dorm are rickety and its a guest house so you can get families staying. it's not the hostel's fault i was woken by a baby crying through paperthin walls... but hey it happened. met some cool people here though

Nice hostel. Good for solo travelling. Big lockers, decent wifi. The cheap breakfast is good
Great place. Wouldn't recommend for solo travellers wanting to meet people though. The staff are super friendly too.
Great place to stay. Short stroll to the beach. Wifi works fine. Breakfast is good. Thanks!
Stay was great. Feel sorry for the owner though. We had a blackout caused by some sort of burst pipe and everyone had to leave the hostel and find new accommodation. But I guess that's Vietnam. Would otherwise recommend
The place was great. Very clean, met some nice people (was a solo traveller) and had a great time. One comment though, at night they close the toilet for 20mins for cleaning (i think it was 10pm). Don't get me wrong, I know toilets need cleaning and everything, but closing it and not giving people an option but to "hold it" is a bit rude. Imagine if someone had some bad intestinal bug and had to wait to go (and not given another option). Besides that... hostel was excellent. paid wifi sucks.
I met some interesting people here and had fun every day and night regardless of this. also the only thing I am sad about is that we did not finish the jigsaw puzzle. ouch.
everything was great, except I was not leaving from the ferry port (which is right in front), so the location is a bit away from the centre... but its a short walk. everything else was god enough
hostel was great. the floor was sand. the beach was amazing and close. staff friendly. also if you ceom from or go to stone town, GET A DALA DALA (local bus). its super cheap and fun... and not much difference in time ($2 vs $40 or more)
Great location, rooftop bar with great views, wasn't really anything wrong at all with the hostel.
Secure, nice place. The staff were excellent. I didn't have much washing so the guy threw it in with some sheets and did it free instead of charging me some little sum of money anyway. Theres a bar downstairs and decent breakfast.
The only annoying thing is they dont have mixed rooms (too many guys in a room gets stinky haha). Location and breakfast are great! The only annoying location problem is that the train and bus station are a bit out of town and not near each other. Wasn't many people here though
No problems at all with the hostel, it was great. The view from the roof is excellent. Rooftop bar was great and fun, met some cool people.
The hostel was ok. No lockers in the room was a bit annoying. I don't mind the fact you could climb in our window, but without a locker... its a bit risky! Otherwise its not too bad
hostel was great. no issues at all. the only problem was that there was barely anyone around... but that happens when you travel to small cities mid winter!
its cheap for vienna standards. everything was good in the hostel but ti guess the only problem is it doesnt have that small hostel kinda vibe. great otherwise though.
everything in the hostel was great. maybe free breakfast would be good! the city is a bit boring though
great hostel. my room wasnt super fantastic but it was big enough. some friends i made showed me their room and it was awesome. recommended
pity about the location and price... but thats paris for you!! everything else was great. thanks
I stayed i both the Yes Hostel and his hostel a week apart. Couldn't really fault it. And definitely liked this hostel better!
consider staying in la linea or a hotel. was quite expensive because its the only hostel! its a bit hit or miss though with staff. one of the guys was super nice but the girl who checked me was not so useful. when my friends arrived after me, she said to them i had not checked in yet...
stay was ok. location was in the medina and is great. didnt really meet anyone here though. but to be honest i didnt like tangier! consider going to other big cities for longer
Had such a great time couldn't recommend it more. It's simple to find from the station. So many fun free activities you can do. Paella night is great. Super friendly staff. You can buy cheap beers from them too which helps. I can't think of anything bad about this hostel
Great hostel. Great staff. Pub crawl is kinda lame if you do it more than once though. Overall great. Dinners not too bad
Everything is expensive in Paris. But overall the stay was good. Privacy curtains and lockers were useful. Thanks
Kind of strange hostel because it seems more family oriented. But still there is nothing wrong with it. Huge, clean, has everything you need. Might be a bit hard to meet people as a solo traveller but the dinner specials are good too
great stay especially the hostel staff and owner. thanks
This place is amazing. The only annoying thing is that it is a 10minute bus ride from the city but everything else is perfect. With Ana's were amazing (except the one that called me retarded... but I probably deserved it - I got home after checkout on my last morning and missed breakfast but she still made me some!). The owner is also great
I've stayed in well over 50 hostels to date and this is clearly the best. The only bad thing from my stay is that my liver really took a beating and I usually woke up feeling like poor decisions. I can't recommend this place enough.
