Loved this place - super cosy little apartment conversion (as most Russian hostels are). Very clean and brand spanking new inside. The staff were sooo lovely and helpful - offered me dinner as soon as I arrived which was a nice surprise! The only issue that I had was with finding the darn place. The address is NOT Red Army Street - rather Krasnaya Armiya (the Russian translation!) and the apartment number is next to impossible to find. Traumatic experience getting there, but otherwise loved it.
Nice stay here, and the staff are very helpful and fun to hang out with. Though there was only one toilet and one shower and despite being cleaned daily they did get a bit smelly. Unfortunately not much of a kitchen either - more of a makeshift kitchenette (no oven)
A cheap and cheerful hotel. Did the job for us as we only stayed there for one night, however there is no common area, so definitely not a place to socialise with other guests.

We had a great stay at Kismet Dao - very clean and a nice group of people staying there. We particularly enjoyed the extensive DVD collection
My sister and I had an amazing five nights in this hostel - such an incredible vibe going on in here and a great staff made up of fellow travellers. Meals cooked by Jaxon were fantastic (we especially loved his yummy fry up breakfasts!!), and the staff led party nights out were second to none. We nearly didn't book this place due to it's distance from Varna, however made the right decision to come here. Once you come you don't want to leave! One of the best hostels we've stayed at.
Very happy campers here! Fab place with more of a resort feel than a hostel feel. The bathroom was a little smelly (so perhaps the pipes need to be cleared out?) and shower water was sometimes not hot enough, however all the other facilities are fab, and the pool is wonderful to lie around. We had great evening drinks sessions with Neville (reception).
Great stay here and excellent value for money. Reception smelt a little like stale smoke, but our room was (fortunately) ok.
We ended up extending our stay from three nights to five nights - this hostel was fantastic! The brothers who run the place are beyond helpful, and lots of fun to party with. If you are looking for a polished hotel-style hostel then this place isn't for you - think awesome bohemian summer chill out crib. The showers unfortunately aren't incredible (barely any hot water), HOWEVER this place is so great in so many other ways that we really didn't mind too much.
Great location and staff were accommodating to our late night arrival, however the shower was pretty average - could do with a refresh. Also bunk beds were EXTREMELY creaky - I could roll over at night without making enough house to wake the whole room!
Fantastic hostel - great vibe and fun party atmosphere. Bathroom cleanliness left a little to be desired, however I think this was as a result of there only being a couple of female toilets/showers in the whole building. Gracia is a gorgeous bohemian area a short way outside of the centre with gorgeous bars, restaurants and boutique clothing stores lining the streets.
As mentioned by other reviewers, the vibe and location is what really lets this hostel down. This is an excellent place to sleep (and quite cheap compared to other barcelona hostels) but don't expect to meet loads of people as its not a particularly social place.
The hostel itself was absolutely immaculate - very clean, with loads of stylish new Ikea furniture and plenty of light. The only thing that lets this place down is the location which was a little far from the city centre (though the neighbourhood is delightful!). Perfect hostel for someone trying hostel accomodation for the first time. A TV in the common room would be a good addition as it would aid socialising.
