B&B Villa Melchiorre

We just booked the hostel for an overnight stat because it was close to the station. The rooms were clean, staff were nice, but no air conditioning meant it was really hot, and its next to a busy main road so traffic is really loud. It was really hard to sleep at all.

The hostel was clean and the staff on reception were friendly and gave us a city map. We knew the room didn't have air conditioning but we found it really, really hot and uncomfortable while we were there. There was a wash basin in the room.

Little Olive Tree

Bari, Italy

This hostel was a little bit outside our budget but I'm glad we went there as it is an excellent place to stay. The owners David and Val are very helpful and extremely friendly, it was more like living with hosts than staying in a hostel. The roof terrace was amazing, you can sit up there and watch the sunset. There is also a lot to do in and around Bari, more than we were expecting. Bari itself is a great little town, still relatively untouristy and alive with locals.

Very nice hostel with a good atmosphere and good common areas. Staff were friendly and helpful. A very social place. The location was alright, about 40 minutes walk from the station (but there's a metro station round the corner) and a few minutes walk from the main centre of Naples.
