Excellent location next to the Central Park. Staff are generally ok, although efficiency is not their top priority, as they often chit-chat among themselves even when there is a queue at the reception desk.

Good location, with subway station only a block away, ~20-30 min to downtown Manhattan. Very nice lounge and kitchen area, and toilets and showers seem to be renovated recently. Even got a little backyard. No shoes allowed inside so it is nice and clean. Breakfast is self-serviced from the cupboard, with pancake powder and the like. I found no communal eggs though.

I will stay there again. It is not too far from Union Station, with supermarket and city-bike rentals just one or two blocks away. Clean place as they have a no-shoes-inside policy. Helpful staff like Agy always a plus.

One toilet for 18 people is a bit limiting. Consider adding an extra toilet at, say, the shower in the 'girlz room'.

The staff there are excellent. But the facilities, especially the bedding/mattress/pillow have much room for improvements.
